Miniature tanks
If the child likes to play at the table, then you can make a whole army of small tanks. To make one tank you will need:
- two matchboxes;
- glue;
- colored paper or white paper with paints;
- scissors;
- juice tube.
We begin to make the tank out of matchboxes from the hull. Take the box and glue it with green paper. Instead of green, you can use a white sheet, which at the end of the work will be painted in khaki with stars and inscriptions. Glue a strip of black paper on each edge, which will indicate the tracks.
Then try the second box on the first and cut off half to form a cabin. At the same time, measure the length of the cannon that you make from the tube. Now paste over the cabin with paper. From the front, carefully make a cut and stick the gun. Now it remains only to decorate the tank: stick round wheels on the sides of the hull, draw a red star on the sides of the cab. How to make a tank from medium-sized matchboxes?
For larger crafts, you need more matchboxes. To make a tank 8-10 centimeters high, you need to take about 30 boxes. Beginners to build a combat vehicle with tracks and hulls. To do this, put four boxes in a row, lay two more rows on them. This will be one caterpillar that needs to be pasted over with green paper.
Stick a black strip below, and decorate the sides and top with black paper folded in an accordion. It is irrational to make a caterpillar on all sides, as the child will tear it up anyway during the game. On the side, attach circles of black paper or buttons. It’s better if the tracks hang over the wheels. So do the second caterpillar.
You have a matchbox tank almost ready. It remains to make a body and a cabin. Take three boxes and place them on top of each other. Paste with paper and glue to the tracks so that the body is located in the middle. If this distance between the tracks is not satisfactory, then take more boxes.
By analogy with the body, make a cabin of three boxes. Make a gun out of paper and stick it to the cab. With the last step, cut out the stars and stick on the tank.
The most beautiful craft: a matchbox tank
This technology will produce a beautiful tank, but make it harder.
- Take the first matchbox. Measure on a wide part a square with a side of 30 mm, and from the side on the near side - 20 mm. Draw oblique lines on the sides and cut the boxes along them. On the cut side, glue the side.
- At the whole box, from one edge, put forward the inner shelf and put on it the made front of the case. See how much space is left on the other side. From the first part, take the inside and cut according to the measurements taken. Insert this part on the other side of the tank. Glue two rectangular blinds on the front of the housing.
- Now make a cab. On the box along, draw a line that divides the boxes in half. Next, measure 10 mm from each edge. And draw a line. Now draw diagonal lines on the sides of each edge so that you get a trapezoid. Cut the boxes along the trapezoid and midline. Glue to the cab on each side of the wall. Stick square windows on the front wall, on the sides there are three round hatches, and on top two rectangular hatches.
