Wooden houses are not only beautiful, they are also very warm and cozy. However, wood has one big drawback - it absorbs water well and therefore rots. Currently, all building materials are impregnated with special preparations that ensure its safety for many years. But houses of the old construction are not provided with such protection, and therefore the lower crowns become worthless. In addition, all wooden buildings give a strong shrinkage in the first two years, so the lower logs are much faster to decay, regardless of whether you used special preparations or not. It is better to put a thick plate of steel with a slight bulge under the lifting head, this will prevent slipping. The house should be raised smoothly, always checking the level. Tip: do not visually determine the level and do not control it by the length of the extended rod, the jack for lifting the house is pressed into the supporting surface (board or soil), so this indicator does not reflect the objective picture.
It remains to find out the answer to the last question: "Where to get the right equipment?" Buying two or even four jacks is a very expensive pleasure, especially for a single operation. Well, suppose one jack is always useful on the farm, but where to use all four? That is why there is a rental of jacks to raise the house.
