To transport sewage from the bathroom, a pipeline of 90 mm in diameter is used. "And where are the large pipe sizes used?" - you ask. Yes, everything is very simple, they are used to mount the risers and lay the outlet of sewage far beyond the boundaries of the structure.
When choosing a product from the market, consider that the parameters of the pipe products are related, therefore, it is necessary to clarify the required characteristics. For pipe products with large diameters and wall thicknesses are appropriate. For example, a diameter of 150-160 mm corresponds to a wall of 3.9, and a diameter of 110 mm - 3 mm.
Not only the weight, but also the amount of material used depends on the diameter indicators. So, a running meter of a pipe, with a diameter of 110 mm, slightly exceeds the kilogram by weight, while a pipe with a diameter of 160 mm weighs more - up to two kilograms.
Important! When draining a domestic sewage system, a material with a diameter of 300 mm is used.
PVC pipe sizes
The advent of polyvinyl chloride was a leap in construction technology. Now the material is making great strides towards fame, forcing out known materials from everyday life. Such an advantage will be needed for the work of specialists, and an ordinary person will not be able to understand all this. When you look at the label when choosing a material, it is worth remembering that only the size by the outer diameter is indicated there, and its internal value must be determined by subtracting the wall thickness. The sizes of polypropylene pipes should be selected in accordance with the role and load assigned to them.
The big advantage of this type of pipe is the ability to easily cut them into pieces with a regular grinder. Thanks to this quality, installation is often uncomplicated and does not require special skills and experience.
