- Open gosuslugi.ru in a browser.
- Log in to the service. To do this, you will have to register in advance on the portal. It is advisable not later than 2 weeks before starting work with the State Services.
- Go to the "Public Services".
- In the search bar, write "Issuing a duplicate birth certificate."
- Click on the search result.
- Click on the "Get a Service" button.

About applicants
A few words about who may require a second birth certificate. Not everyone has the right to this.
So, the legislation of the Russian Federation allows you to apply for the issuance of duplicate birth certificates to the following citizens:
- parents of the child;
- adoptive parents;
- guardians;
- to the citizen after 18 years;
- relatives of the child, if there are no legal representatives.
