The Bulgarian is an indispensable tool when performing various construction, installation and repair work. The main task of this machine is to quickly cut metal or stones. Also, thanks to special nozzles, he is able to carefully grind the surface of the part, clean it and eliminate deep and stubborn dirt (often it is rust). However, in order to expand the scope of this device, many acquire and even design home-made devices for grinders. And today we will consider what devices and nozzles are most in demand in construction, and how to make them yourself.
At the moment, there are many different nozzles that can significantly expand the scope of use of a simple grinder. Such, for example, are:

How to make homemade appliances for grinders? Cooking Tools
To perform these works, you will need the following devices:
- electric drill with a set of drills;
- screwdriver;
- wood hacksaw ;
- discs for grinders with a diameter of 125 millimeters.
What should be prepared from materials?
You need to purchase wooden blocks (2 pcs.), A metal corner made of duralumin steel and the same plate. You will also need screws 3 ... 3.5x16 ... 35 millimeters in size. In total, you need to have 8 of these elements.
Getting to work
First, a metal plate is cut. Next, a corner is made from a duralumin corner. This is not difficult - you only need to make a cutout in the form of a triangle in one of the shelves of the part and bend it at right angles. In the metal structure of the plate, it is necessary to drill 6 holes of diameters of 4 millimeters each. This is necessary to fix the handle, corners and a wooden block with screws. It should be noted that each of these holes should have a special recess for the head of the screws.
The handle is fastened with a bar using two screws. The dimensions of the fasteners should be 3x35 millimeters. This way you get the L-shaped part. All these elements together with the plate are then assembled together. At the same time, devices for grinders are fixed with 4 self-tapping screws 3x20 millimeters.
So, the basis of the element is ready for us. Now here you need to install steel corners. There should be two - with sizes 60 × 60 × 45 and 55 × 30 × 75 millimeters. It should be noted that the first corner must be unbent from 90 0 to 60 0 . If this is not done, such a product will definitely not be fixed on the grinder. What to do next? After installing the steel corners, the Bulgarian itself is attached to them. It connects to the device using its own handle on the one hand, and on the other - with the help of a bolt and a lock nut of the M series (8 × 20 millimeters). The latter is necessary so that the screw does not loosen from the device during the cutting of the material. It is not necessary to install a lock nut on the handle, as you will hold it with your hand. Everything, at this stage, the cutting device has been successfully manufactured.
Bed
Such grinders are used to facilitate the operator’s efforts to cut the material. Agree, keeping a bulky grinder on weight for several hours in a row is quite difficult. For this reason, many craftsmen make special beds that allow you to work on cutting metal and products with almost one hand.
How to make such a device for a do-it-yourself grinder? First you need to craft a wooden box. It is enough to make only one side for fixing the grinder. All other walls are removed, legs are fixed in their place.
But for such a grinder to be truly effective, you must first adapt it to the new "living conditions." What do I need to do? First remove the tool guard. Next, a disc is put on the grinder. When he is leaning against the side wall of the tool, mark where the slot was made for the nozzle or disk to travel. It should not be too wide (distance - so that no foreign objects get into the device). However, the gap can be expanded. This is done in cases where there is a need for quick replacement of nozzles without disassembling the entire structure. As supports, you can use two wooden bars. Everything, now you can safely begin to work on cutting various materials and products.
About the protractor
The protractor is the most important tool when performing construction and installation works. These devices for grinders are indispensable in the processing and cutting of light metal profiles. Using this tool allows you to accurately calculate the cutting angle of the part, which is best displayed on the quality of work performed. In addition to metal profiles, this tool is also widely in demand in the processing of tiles, flooring and skirting boards. A homemade protractor is a great alternative to bulky and expensive tools, which are also called specialized ones. Perhaps, on an industrial scale, there will be no benefit from home-made equipment, but in the household, such an element will certainly be indispensable.
The principle of its action is as follows:
- First, the tile (or other material to be cut) is placed on a guide corner with an anti-friction lining. The latter has high anti-slip properties, which prevents the possibility of displacement of the part on the device.
- Next, the workpiece is pressed tightly against the shelves of the corner, after which the operator sets the desired cutting angle.
- Then begins cutting the material. It should be borne in mind that for cutting it is enough just to press the disk a little - extra efforts in this case are useless.
Design
Structurally, these devices for grinders consist of the following parts:
