Prado (radiator): reviews, specifications, manufacturer, connection

The creator and manufacturer of Prado radiators is Izhevsk Research Institute NITI Progress, well-known in the USSR. At one time he was the flagship of thought in the field of technological equipment. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the institution began to look for new ways of development, and at the academic council it was decided to choose a course on heating systems. After that, in 2005, in the city where the institute is located, the Prado trading house appeared and radiators began to be produced under its logo, and literally after 2-3 years they appeared in stores throughout Russia.

Thanks to the excellent work of dealers and competent management, the company again became quite famous throughout the post-Soviet space, and its products are available to ordinary customers in all major stores. In addition, having received the recognition of many experts, the company began to exhibit Prado (radiator) at various exhibitions of heating appliances. To date, they have already won many trophies, thereby proving the high level of quality of their products.

Creating this type of battery is a tough automated process. In production, the following stages are traced:

  • a Prado radiator is created only in the factory conditions of the NITI Progress;
  • for its production use only selected high-carbon steel, which should have a thickness of at least 1.3–1.4 mm;
  • all blanks are created according to the size of future batteries, after which they are sent to a special machine for further stamping;
  • Further, the workpieces stamped using welding equipment are connected in panels, which can be from 1 to 3 pieces; to increase heat transfer, special ribs made of thin steel sheet are attached to some types of batteries;
  • when the radiator is completely ready, it is painted white in a special electric submersible way.
