Among his hobbies, the writer especially notes computer games in the genre of RPG and TBS. According to the author himself, they attract him with fantastic stories and a fabulous atmosphere. Not surprisingly, Kornev also likes the works of other science fiction writers. Such, for example, as J. Martin, S. Green, R. Zhelyazny, A. Pekhov, A. Bushkov, V. Panov and some others.

At the moment, Pavel Kornev devotes all his free time to writing new novels, the bibliography of which is presented below.

Series "Frontier"

Borderland is a space where pieces of our world sometimes fall together with buildings and people. This place is located on the border between human reality and an alien universe. In the borderlands, cold reigns almost constantly, and outside of the few cities and settlements it is easy to meet a werewolf, a living dead man and other evil spirits. Even just staying alive in this hostile place is not a task for wimps.

It was here that Pavel Kornev decided to abandon his hero Alexander Lednev, better known to others as Ice or Slippery. The adventures of this outstanding character in all respects are narrated by the first four books of the series: “Ice”, “Slippery”, “Black Dreams”, “Black Noon”.

The works (especially the first part of the series) have gained unprecedented popularity among readers. Even those who do not like the fantasy genre could appreciate the talent and imagination of the author. In addition, it was this cycle that brought the writer fame and the first award (award "Sword Without a Name" from the publishing house "Alpha Book").

History of Eugene Apostle

This dilogy is included by Pavel Kornev in the series “Borderland”, despite the fact that now another character is in the center of attention of the author - Eugene Apostol. This is no longer Sasha Ice, accustomed to solve everything by brute force. Eugene is a clairvoyant, and his gift in many ways becomes the cause of all the troubles of the hero.

The dilogy includes: “Ice Citadel” and “Where It's Warm”. Both books were surprisingly well received not only by Kornev fans, but also by pioneers in the genre of fighting fantasy.

About the return of Ice

In the seventh book, Pavel Kornev decided to return his hero. In the arena again, Sasha Lednev, who now has to solve a problem much more important than saving his own life. The space of the Borderland begins to invade reality. Stable transitions between worlds appear, which are immediately decided by unknown, but very entrepreneurial personalities.

The book “Ice. Cleaner "was no longer so unambiguously appreciated by the fans. Many have found that some descriptions are overly long, and our world is not like itself. As for the plot and characters' characters, here the author remained true to himself.

Hops and Klondike

This part of the series was written by Pavel Kornev together with Andrei Cruz. Now there are two main characters: Nikolai Gordeev and Vyacheslav Khmelev. Their adventures are connected with the difficult life of Fort - one of the largest cities of the Borderland.

To date, two books have been published: “Hops and Klondike” and “Cold, Beer, Shotgun”. The following is being prepared for publication - “Witches, card, shotgun”.

Co-authorship, according to many fans, did not benefit writers. A strong transformation of the world of the Borderland is noted up to the point of unrecognizability, the lack of character development and the absence of the previous atmosphere.

Series "Exorcist"

The world of this series is reminiscent of the Middle Ages, in which the danger that a demon will take hold of your soul is not at all illusory. Therefore, the profession of an exorcist here is a fairly common and useful craft. That was until the moment when a man capable of commanding demons appeared. This heretic quickly found allies and followers. And what remains for simple exorcists, for example, such as Sebastian Mart? It is this character who becomes the protagonist of the books: Damned Metal, Reaper, Pestilence, and Defiler.

This cycle had much more negative reviews than all the previous books of the writer. Many did not like the world; others found too many similarities between Ice and Sebastian Mart. However, there were also those who liked this composition.

Series "Autumn City"

Pavel Kornev began work on this cycle in 2013. Today it is considered completed and includes two books: “The Divisional Commissioner” and “Without Anger and Addiction”.

The events of this series unfold in a world divided into parts that connect only railway rails. Time froze here, and alchemical plants turn into energy called Eternity. This world is filled with strange creatures that can drive you crazy with one touch. It is here that the protagonist of the novel lives - special police commissioner Victor Gray. It fell to him to keep order in this strange world.

Readers liked this series much more than the previous one. The world and characters turned out to be attractive, and the writer’s appeal to the genre of science fiction was unusual and interesting.

In addition to the books described above, Kornev’s pen belongs to the series “All-Benevolent Electricity”, which includes the novels “Radiant” and “Heartless”. The cycle is currently unfinished.
