Paul, referring to the Holy Scriptures, called the ungodly people who succumbed to the seductive promises given to them by the first ungodly or “unclean” - fallen angel, expelled from heaven. The purpose of the advice of the wicked is to make man deviate from the path God has appointed him.
What advice do the wicked give?
For a long time, the council of the wicked clergy has called assemblies of depravers.
The main goal pursued by the wicked is through false sermons to rob the Christian of his strength. To incline a person to abandon the earthly sufferings necessary to save the soul, to think more about the improvement of temporary, earthly life and to concentrate all his attention on carnal joys.
In other words, the goal of the corrupt is to guide believers on the path of the wicked.
Which way are the wicked?
Those who have embarked on the path indicated by the advice of the wicked cannot find excuses for their actions at the last judgment God had prepared for them. “... The way of the wicked will perish,” such words appear in one of the psalms.
In the letters left to posterity by the apostle Paul, it is said that many people are taking the path of sinners (since it is wide), not realizing that a well-arranged temporary (earthly) life ends in descent into the underworld.
The apostle calls the attendance of the meetings of the corrupters the last step leading to perdition. It is also known that Paul anathematized the “preachers,” whose teachings are saturated with lies.
So who are these wicked people?
Modern people who do not attend the temple rarely hear the word "wicked." This concept is found mainly in the vocabulary of believers. Most people, trying to understand the meaning of the word “wicked,” turn to the messages left by the apostles.
If you believe the information published on one of the religious sites, among Christians there are those who do not rank Judas among the traitors, but consider him the executor of a responsible task (without his betrayal, they say, Jesus could not fulfill his martyrdom). This category of believers interprets the word “wicked,” based on the Epistles of Judas.
The disgraced apostle, urging Christians to fight for the faith that he himself had once betrayed, gives a clear definition of the term “wicked”: he is a person who is able to see in God’s grace an occasion for debauchery, defiling the flesh and cursing the representatives of high authorities.
In addition, Judah called for the wicked grumblers, hypocrites, self-interested people, and also people who are called biased in modern society to be considered ungodly.
But someone Iozoaps Stonkus, the author of religious articles, applies this concept to believers, whom he calls the idolaters of the Holy Trinity. According to this author, the wicked is a person who rejects the one God.
Stonkus also ranks the category of wicked Christians who worship Jesus not as the son of a single deity, but as the deity himself.
