Put the second and third tiers of the skirt outward. Change the sewing machine to continuous thread and turn on the zigzag stitch function in large increments. Work around the top of each tier.
Take the bottom part and gently pull the ends of the thread out of the winding seam, thus creating wrinkles on the fabric. When the length of this tier is equal to the size of the lower edge of the second element, tie the ends of the elongated thread together. Distribute the folds around the perimeter evenly. If you don’t have a machine and strong threads at hand, you can make assemblies by manually treating the edge with a thick thread.
Turn the tier, located in the middle, and combine its lower edge with the upper part of the last tier (where the folds are), folding them together, with the outer sides to each other. Sew these two items by hand along the line that is located under the zigzag seam. Turn the middle part out and straighten the folds if necessary. Sew on the sewing machine the line where you previously sketched manually. Pull the sturdy thread by pulling the fabric into the assemblies.
Repeat the sixth and seventh steps in order to connect the upper tier with the middle.
Treat all assembled seams with an overlock.
Make a small hole 2-2.5 cm from the outside, in the place where the elastic is inserted. You can make it a device for opening seams.
Thread the gum or string through the hole. Done!
