The ancestor of the cat Josephine, according to existing legend, brought the most ordinary offspring, until it was hit by a machine. Because of this, supposedly, all of her subsequent litters had the same attractive set of qualities. They turned out to be incredibly good-natured, blue-eyed and had wonderful white fur. And for the manner of lying absolutely relaxed on the hands of the owners, they were called ragdoll, which means "rag doll" in translation from English.

These cats in their psychology are more like dogs. They are incredibly attached to the owner and constantly need to communicate with him. These charming creatures will meet you at the door and follow you around the house, no matter what you do, pretty purring at your approach and occasionally rubbing a soft cheek on the feet of a beloved family member. Meals "from the table" for such cats are not suitable. The food offered by the ragdoll must be complete (chicken, meat, milk) and balanced, so that your pet grows healthy and cheerful. It can be canned food or food of expensive varieties.
