The correct mode of the day of the student, its rationale and strict observance

Preparing for the first of September, parents make sure that the child has a beautiful school uniform and accessories for study of good quality. And, as a rule, they don’t think about planning in advance the day regimen for the period of study.

The daily routine of the student is the rational distribution of the time of day into the phases of activity, rest and sleep, taking into account the biological rhythms of the growing organism.

Parents are obliged to organize the correct daily routine for the student in order to ensure the best conditions, both for his work and for rest. His health, physical development, and school performance directly depend on this.

The student’s day regimen, organized correctly, is built on the basis of a strict alternation of its elements (morning rise, meal, homework, etc.). When they are performed in a certain order, every day at the same time period, the central nervous system forms connections that facilitate the transition from element to element, spending a minimum of energy on their implementation.

When compiling a student’s day regimen , it is necessary to take into account his age-related features, primarily the nervous system. Indeed, a simple load for middle-aged and older students will be unbearable for elementary school students.

Every morning, a schoolchild should start exercising, driving away the remnants of drowsiness and giving a charge of vivacity for a day. The main activity of schoolchildren is study. An important point is the familiarization of children with physical labor (school workshop, classes in circles, help with housework, gardening, etc.).

Preparation of homework for elementary school students takes from one and a half to two hours, middle school students spend from two to three hours, and senior students need three to four hours. Doing homework immediately after returning from school is not recommended. The break between school and homework should be at least two and a half hours, and most of the time should be devoted to walks and games in the air. First-shift students should begin homework preparation no earlier than 16-17 hours. And the day mode of the second-shift schoolchild provides for starting homework from 8 - 8.30 in the morning. After their implementation - a walk in the air. Moreover, the parents of these students should ensure that their homework is not performed by them in the evening, after coming from school.

Performing tasks at home, it is advisable to take a ten-minute break every 40-45 minutes and ventilate the room. To complete homework for the student, conditions must be created with a calm atmosphere.

The schoolchild’s day regime also provides time for activities of interest (drawing, reading, music, designing) - from one hour for younger students to two and a half hours for seniors. Schoolchildren must also be required to be involved in feasible domestic work.

Observance of a meal regimen by schoolchildren at a strictly defined time promotes the development of a conditioned reflex that causes appetite, and better absorption of nutrients, and also becomes the key to health.

The student’s day regimen ends with evening hygiene procedures, which takes 30 minutes. During this period, the student must also bring his shoes and uniform into proper shape.

The baby’s nighttime sleep time is approximately 10 hours. It is very important to go to bed and rise at the same time period. Younger students must go to bed no later than 21.00, and the oldest - at 22.00 - 22.30. Pupils of both the first and second shifts should rise at seven in the morning.

The approximate mode of the day of the student studying in the first shift:

at 7 in the morning - rise;
from 7 hours to 7.30 minutes - charging, hygienic manipulations, cleaning your bed;
