Crepe paper flowers: tulips and crocuses

Any flowers from crepe paper are unusual and delicate. It's best to start with tulips or crocuses whose buds are similar to each other, and then move on to more complex creations. Crepe paper is unique in that it stretches and allows you to take any shape.

Crepe Paper Crocuses

For crocuses, cut six rectangular strips (10 cm long and 2 cm wide). Now take the strip, bend in half and twist once in the middle. Form a petal with your fingers, giving it a bulge. At the bottom of the corners bend. For leaves, cut long narrow rectangles. Sharpen one edge with scissors, leave the second.

Now make an interesting core. By the way, she can decorate any flowers from crepe paper. From a wire 15 centimeters long, twist the loop from one edge. Cut an orange rectangle 3x5 cm. With your fingers, stretch the top of the rectangle to the sides. Next, attach the wire to the rectangle, stretched upwards from the inside, smear with glue and bend by a centimeter, covering the loop.

Now grease the entire rectangle with glue and carefully twist it into the tube along with the wire. Stretched up try not to touch. That is, you get a twisted orange leg with a triangular stamen. Then glue the petals in a checkerboard pattern to the resulting core, wrap the stem with green paper and glue the leaves.

Crepe Paper Tulips

For one flower, you need to take six 8-centimeter rectangles with a width of 3 centimeters. Lay them on top of each other and cut an oval tulip petal. You also cut tall, wide rectangles from green paper (about 10 centimeters long and 5 cm wide). Overlay two rectangles on top of each other and form a wide sheet.

Now adjust the tulip petals. Take the petal in your hands and with your fingers begin to stretch it in opposite directions, creating a convex shape. You can use the tennis ball on which you pull the petal. Further, you also bend the leaves.

Now take the wires and make 6 stamens and one pestle of beads and glass beads. Or bend the wires from one edge to 5 mm, these will be stamens. Dip them in PVA glue and then in colored semolina. Leave to dry.

Now collect the stamens on the wire, wrap them with petals. Wrap the stem with green paper, in some places smearing with glue. Attach the leaves. Get beautiful crepe paper flowers.

Open tulip

First make the core of the tulip. To do this, cut out thin strips of green and yellow paper and twist them into tubes. In green stamens, twist paper with wire and bend one edge into a circle, like a mustache in a butterfly. Press the yellow stamens slightly at one edge into a lump. Next, collect all the stamens along with the wire and wrap them with green paper. It will be a stalk.

Now make the petals. For this, you also cut a wide tulip petal from the rectangle. With your hands, stretch the petal in width and twist the edges in length inward to get a pointed corner. Also, from strips of yellow paper the length of a petal, roll the tubes together with a thin wire. Glue it to the middle of the petal. With it, flowers from crepe paper will acquire the desired bend.

You make six of these petals and attach them to the stem, which you wrap with green paper. Also make wide long leaves. Bend the hands around the edges into tubes, forming a sharp corner. Glue a tube with a wire to the middle and attach to the stem.

Terry Tulips

Crepe paper holds its shape very well. Cut a wide rectangle and pull it over the wide bottom of the mug. Firstly, the petal is already taking on a convex shape. And secondly, with the help of paints you can apply an unusual coloring.

By the way, if three rectangles are placed on the bottom of the circle on each side, then they can be painted all at once. Fingers bending the petals, you get a wide three-leafed petal. It will be a large tulip, therefore, make the core wide.

Take a long rectangular strip (5-6cm wide), cut it into strips. And twist them to a cut. Then take the stem (skewer, stick, wire), wrap it with green paper and wrap the core on it. Glue the edge, and fluff the stamens.
