What happens if you kill a spider?

- Sickness will come to your home. In ancient times, healers claimed that a cobweb, assembled at home, can cure many ailments. If she is not in the house, then the disease can become fatal. But today it has already been proven that the web is not a healing substance.
- Based on signs, spiders attract happiness, especially their networks. With the help of thin strings, they “catch” the good, after which life in the house becomes better. This explained earlier why it is impossible to kill spiders, because then there will be no luck.
- There are suggestions that by killing this "resident" of your home, you will certainly incur trouble. At the same time, the smaller the spider, the greater and worse the disaster. In this case, there is a rule explaining that if you killed a defenseless creature, you must be punished for it.
- If the spider has sat on you, then a gift awaits you. This means that if you killed an insect, then good news or surprise can not be expected.
Here are the main reasons explaining why spiders cannot be killed. But after all, any beliefs and signs, as a rule, came from long-standing stories.
So, we recall that it was the spider that saved the baby Jesus from death. When the whole family fled to Egypt and decided to hide in a cave, a spider came there. This creature enveloped the entrance with a thick web, and after a while a dove settled there. Opponents, approaching the cave, saw an overgrown entrance. They were completely sure that a human foot had not stepped here for a long time and went further. Maybe this story is also related to why you can't kill spiders.

But, based on all this, we can conclude that signs about spiders arose due to the fact that in ancient times they were revered. People considered these insects to be hardworking and wise creatures that can also cure many diseases. So in no case was it allowed to kill a spider.
How was the spider treated?
Just note that the spider is an insect that is not used in medicine today. Its medicinal properties have not been proven, and you should not trust the experience of past years, because everything was based on assumptions.
