Team shooter is a game in which users are divided into two opposing teams and perform the task assigned to them. This may be the easiest mode - to kill all opponents and try not to die. But there are others - for example, one team must plant a bomb and detonate a level, and the other must prevent this.
Sometimes a team needs to save the hostages, sometimes they need to hold a certain point on the map and so on. In general, there are many options, and they all vary from game to game. But the fact that you will need a sufficiently high level of skill to succeed in such a game remains the same. After all, you are opposing the same as you, users, and not artificial intelligence. Therefore, here you will need absolutely all the available methods that would help you achieve excellence. Everything is important here - even the size of the sight. Next, we will talk about how to reduce the scope in CSS v34, as well as in earlier versions of this project.
Reducing the size of the sight in the pirated version
As you can easily understand, the size of the sight is a very important parameter. After all, by default it is quite large, which does not allow you to aim properly. Therefore, many players are wondering how to reduce the scope.
In CSS V34 and in previous versions of this game, this is done in various ways, so you should consider both options.
First of all, let's pay attention to the pirated version, which gamers used for a long time, until an update came out that changed a lot in the game, including the teams responsible for changing the sight.
So, you need the console command cl_crosshairscale - it is she who is responsible for the size of your sight. If you have a value lower than 2000, then your scope will be close to the standard, but if you increase the value within 5000, it will become slightly smaller - but not too much. If you continue to increase this parameter up to twenty thousand, you will get a small scope.
If you need a barely noticeable sight, then enter a value above forty thousand - then you can aim at absolutely any part of the body with maximum accuracy, but you still need to lose sight of the tiny dot on the monitor. Now you know the command of the pirated version of the game and understand how to reduce the scope. In CSS V34, the process is a little different, but more on that later. Now itβs worth considering other actions that you can easily do with your sights.
Elimination of expansion
Everyone who has played CSS knows that when you shoot, the scope of your weapon expands. And the longer the line, the wider it is - and the higher the spread of bullets.
Now you know how to reduce the scope in CSS, V34 is a version that will not allow you to eliminate the extension, so this advice is only suitable for owners of a pirated version.
You need the cl_dynamiccrosshair command, for which you need to set the value to β0β - with this combination, the scope will always remain the shape that you set for it, there will be no expansion. In fact, you get a kind of laser sight for CSS, the V34 version deprived users of this opportunity, and this is somewhat true, because the use of such a command cannot be called honest.
Changing the color of the sight
Many users are indignant over why they should have a black scope for CSS V34 or earlier (this is not important). After all, a black sight, especially if it is reduced in size, is not visible at all on some background. And it brings a lot of inconvenience.
You can solve this problem using the same console commands - enter cl_crosshaircolor, and you will get the opportunity to change the color of your sight. A value of "0" gives green, "1" is red, "2" is blue, "3" is yellow, and "4" is blue. As you can see, there are not so many options, but this drawback was fixed during the upgrade, so you can color your crosshair in any color. For CSS V34, in general, all commands are different, so it's time to pay attention to this particular version.
Sight size in licensed version
If you are the owner of a licensed version of this game with the latest updates installed, then the usual team for changing the size of the scope will not work for you. Now you will need to use the cl_crosshairsize command. The standard scope for CSS V34 is set using the value "1", and the reduction in scope occurs when you set a higher value for this command.
As you can see, everything is quite simple, so these changes didnβt affect anything.
Sight color in licensed version
As mentioned earlier, with the color of the sight in the new version, everything became much better. You can still use the cl_crosshaircolor command and the five values ββup to "4" that were available earlier. But if you wish, you can set the value to "5", and get access to the color scale. Enter the commands cl_crosshaircolor_r, cl_crosshaircolor_g and cl_crosshaircolor_b into the line, and after each of them, as you may have guessed, you will need to enter a value from "0" to "255". This is the RGB color scale, which allows you to set the scope to any color using digital values.
If you are not familiar with this scale, you can use any table on the network or the palette in βPhotoshopβ - there you can choose the color that you like and you will be offered its RGB code that you enter in the game.
Sight Thickness
Among other things, the cl_crosshairthickness team was added to the game, which allows you to increase or decrease not the size of the sight itself, but the thickness of its lines. Thus, you can make your small and convenient, but poorly visible sight, more obvious on the screen. A fascinating game for you!
