In subsequent processing, the use of gypsum, lime, cement and other types of plaster mortars is permissible. Before laying a new layer on old paint, linseed oil, varnish surface, ceramic tiles, glass will also require processing "Concrete contact". Experts advise to always apply a primer to the ceiling before painting, which will prevent shedding.
Primer "Concrete Contact" has the following characteristics. The material improves adhesion to smooth surfaces. The mass has environmental friendliness, vapor impermeability, safety against people, animals and plants. The primer is resistant to moisture, it has no smell, it dries quickly.
After using Concrete Contact, the surface becomes rough and ready for further work. Various companies are involved in the production of primers. All products have a similar formula and have almost the same properties: wear resistance, moisture resistance, fire safety, antiseptic qualities.
The acrylic primer "Concrete Contact" is packaged in plastic buckets with a capacity of 3 to 50 kilograms. The color of the material traditionally has pink shades. A quality mixture should be uniform.
The primer is applied to the previously cleaned surface with a brush or roller. Before use, the mixture must be thoroughly mixed by lifting sand that has settled on the bottom to the surface. The material dries four hours after application, after which you can continue the finishing work.
The primer consumption is approximately half a kilogram per square meter of surface and depends on the size of the fractions of the solution. As practice shows, the expected effect of processing is achieved when applying one layer of material.
After laying the mixture in the future, you can safely use a hammer or drill to make holes: the plaster will remain in place. This is impossible on an untreated surface, which can crumble in a radius of several tens of centimeters.
