The first name of the village came from the Shlisselburg fortress, located on the opposite side of the reservoir.
The quality of the products was at the level thanks to the new English equipment. At the beginning of the 20th century, residential buildings, educational institutions, churches, etc., gradually began to be built around the production area.
After the 1917 revolution, the settlement lost part of its sights. With the change in the political regime, the way of life of people has become completely different. In 1918, the village named after Morozov received its current name.

If you are a lover of historical places, be sure to visit the fortress "Nut". It is slightly removed from the village, located on an island in the middle of the Neva.
