In the life of every family in which a little princess grows, there comes a moment when the daughter meets perfume. She really wants to smell delicious, like mom. Features of children's perfume
Perfumes for children should be hypoallergenic, free of dyes, have a slight unobtrusive smell, water-based (preferably) or dry. In the perfume, if desired, you can add sparkles of various shapes and sizes.
Types of children's perfume
For a little princess, you can make three types of perfume:
- For spray gun. Water based, no fillers.
- For a bottle with a ball applicator. These perfumes for children can already be made either on an oil basis, or with the addition of essential oils, since this type of perfume will be applied to the skin pointwise, which eliminates the formation of stains on clothes.
- Dry perfume. This type is also for spot application, the basis of this perfume is paraffin (wax) with the addition of essential oils. Glitter can be added to these perfumes - at the discretion of the little fashionista.
Where to start manufacturing?
Perfumes for children cannot be made without the main perfumer - your child. Invite the little fashionista to choose: what type of perfume she prefers. Based on the selection, prepare the desktop. You will need:
- distilled water;
- wax;
- olive oil;
- non-metallic container for mixing (preferably transparent);
- pipettes
- strips of paper (you can use stationery stickers in different colors);
- a jar of coffee in order not to lose sensitivity to odors;
- glitters of different colors and shapes (if desired);
- essential oils with light, non-aggressive odors (it is advisable to make perfumes for children one-component);
- dishes in which the finished perfume will be stored.
This entire arsenal can be folded into a convenient box, called a “Set for perfumes for children” and stored until the next inspiration.
The manufacturing process is very simple.
How to make perfume for children at home? Nothing complicated - put all the ingredients on the table, call your princess and start "conjuring". To begin, suggest choosing the smell of the future perfume: pipette on the sticker alternately the essential oils, until there is an aroma that will appeal to a small perfumer.
Then select the type of perfume. To create a wax, you will need to melt the wax in a water bath in the right amount. Better to start with a small amount - ten milliliters will be enough. For this volume you will need 3-5 drops of essential oil. Put the oil in the melted wax, mix well (preferably with a wooden stick - ideal for sushi), add glitter (optional) and pour into the storage container. After hardening, tightly close the lid - and in the refrigerator for the night. In the morning you can enjoy the beauty and aroma of the perfume of the little princess.
If you choose a water-based perfume - it's still easier. For a standard spray bottle of 150 milliliters, you will need 15 drops of your favorite essential oil for a delicate aroma, you can add more if you wish. It is worth remembering that water-based perfumes quickly erode. Pour the mixture into the bottle, shake thoroughly and put in the refrigerator until morning.
To make oil perfumes, we take olive oil as a basis, add essential oil (in the ratio, as in the case of dry: 3-5 drops per 10 milliliters of base). Mix well and clean in a cold place.
