And if you want to refund train tickets 2 hours before departure or within 3 hours after, then you will lose, in addition to the fee for the delivery of tickets, another 100% of the cost of the reserved seat.

Let me say that a reserved seat refers to a certain type of fare, which usually amounts to 30-80% of the ticket price, and even more on branded trains. To date, the fee for the return service is 141 rubles 40 kopecks.

If the electronic registration procedure has already been carried out, then it must be canceled before you go to hand over tickets. Keep in mind that one hour before the train departure, you cannot return electronic tickets, because registration will not be canceled.

The procedure for returning money for handed over electronic tickets takes place within a month. Money is returned only to the resource from which you paid. That is, if you paid for the tickets with a credit card, then they will come to it.

You can issue a return of train tickets at any railway ticket office or through your travel operator. Please note that money is not returned for lost travel documents. Therefore, if you have the necessary amount of time, then the ticket is better to recover.

You can do this if you provide documents to the ticket office of the station confirming that the passenger really purchased a ticket for this train, and this place is indicated in it. In this case, you will receive a new travel document for free. I draw your attention to the fact that money for a ticket issued in exchange for a lost ticket is not returned by the carrier.
