In addition to the class, the level of comfort the location of seats in a seated car depends on the train number or direction. Trains 898 or 801 are less comfortable, although the rolling stock classification is the same. There are more seats in the cars of each class, and those belonging to type 3C are more like an electric train and are equipped with triple benches rather than chairs.

Double-decker trains are more convenient. A socket is installed next to each chair in them, the ticket price is lower than in regular trains. They follow the routes Moscow - Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don - Adler, Moscow - St. Petersburg and some others.

In high-speed branded trains, first and second class cars are more comfortable. Passengers have access to Wi-Fi, there are footrests. These trains have a restaurant.
