Emigration from Russia: where to go?

โ€œFish seeks where it is deep, and people seek where it is better,โ€ is the interpretation of a popular proverb. And it is not so far from the truth: in conditions of total impoverishment of the population, oppression of freedoms, lack of social support from the state and the bureaucracy reigning in business, more and more citizens are thinking about how to change their country of citizenship. Since the October Revolution, emigration from Russia has been in five waves. As a rule, these were noble, rich, outstanding people, as well as political opponents of the government and the poor, who could not survive in their homeland.

Emigration from Russia

It seems that now, after the โ€œIron Curtainโ€ has fallen again, but not from the USSR, but from successful and economically developed powers, the time has come to emigrate rich and talented. Nowadays, emigration from Russia is more accessible for those who have an extra million dollars or euros that can be invested in a foreign economy. Also, there should be no problems for people with close relatives in the indicated states: parents, children, spouse or spouse. There is some chance for those who can prove their ethnic roots. But getting refugee status often fails even for those who are really persecuted in the homeland for political or other reasons.

The results of opinion polls are discouraging: although emigration from Russia has not yet reached gigantic proportions, 83% of our compatriots are ready to change their country of residence. When asked what state of the world the Russians are ready to call their new Homeland, people divided in their sympathies. Sociological centers that like to make ratings have not ignored this problem.

Emigration to Germany from Russia

The top ten, oddly enough, is not held by the United States or European countries, but by Australia. What are the reasons for this distribution of sympathy of potential emigrants? Location away from home? Favorable subtropical climate in the south of the continent? No, most likely, the priority was the fact that this state in the Southern Hemisphere steadily holds the third line in the list of the countries most comfortable by economic indicators (Russia, alas, on the 139th place in this list). Emigration from Russia to the USA and Canada occupy the second and third places, respectively.

Germany, despite the economic crisis that is shaking Europe, is in fourth place in the ranking of welcome countries. Similar climatic conditions, a fairly large Russian diaspora, and ease of doing business make this federal state attractive. Emigration to Germany from Russia is not frightening either by lengthy bureaucratic procedures, or by the requirements of the law to renounce citizenship of the Russian Federation, or by the high taxes adopted in this country. If you are an ethnic German, a Jew, or you are ready to invest significant amounts in the economy, permanent residence, and later citizenship, will become a matter of time for you.

Emigration to New Zealand from Russia

An oasis of financial security, Switzerland, attracts people who have made a fortune and seek to keep it from the encroachments of the tenacious claws of Russian monopolists. Money, as you know, loves silence, and, in particular, the calmness of Swiss safes. Life in gay Italy is preferred by over 5% of our fellow citizens. This country keeps doors open to highly qualified professionals. Emigration to New Zealand from Russia, tucked up such an opportunity, would also attract five percent of respondents. Closing the list of "TOP 10 attractive countries" Spain, the UK and France.
