The Imperials in Skyrim cannot boast of phenomenal physical data, but they are predisposed to trade and diplomacy. Representatives of this race often occupy important government posts, run successful stores and command troops.
If we are talking about the army, then we can not fail to mention the imperial legion. This is a frightening war machine, consisting, for the most part, of light infantry. Even having traveled Tamriel far and wide, you can hardly find a force capable of standing up against these experienced warriors on equal terms.
History
The history of Cyrodiil dates back to the arrival of the Ayleids, the ancient kinsmen of all elven races, in these lands. The locals, the ancestors of the current imperials, were enslaved by the conquerors, who used their labor to satisfy their own ambitions. The rule of the Ayleids lasted until the year 242 of the First Era.
Unable to endure the oppression of the conquerors anymore, the slaves led by Alessia began an uprising, which was a turning point in the balance of power on the continent. As a result, the Cyrodilians managed to expel the Ayleids from their own lands. Moreover, having united with the Nords, they managed to conquer most of Tamriel and create the Empire - a true monument of prosperity and peace.
Features
Like any other race in the game, the Imperials have several unique features:
- Imperial luck is a passive effect that allows you to find more gold.
- The Emperor's Voice is an active skill that calms opponents for 60 seconds. It can be used only once a day.
In addition, representatives of this race have a starting bonus to the magic of restoration and destruction, and are also trained to enchant, block, use heavy armor and master one-handed weapons.
Equipment
The Imperial armor in Skyrim is divided into light and heavy. The armor is made of leather and steel, so it is far from the best equipment found in the game. However, the use of such cheap materials is justified. The imperial army consists of a huge number of soldiers, each of which must be equipped with at least some kind of armor.
If desired, you can easily make such equipment yourself in the forge. In addition, the armor of the Imperials can be removed from the bodies of defeated enemies, as well as found in all kinds of chests and caches.
