All today's bathtubs, sinks and sinks have a mandatory connection to the sewage system, where used water and the elements dissolved in it are discharged. Such siphons took the form of a pipe bent in a special way, in the bend of which a water plug is formed. It eliminates the possibility of penetration of fetid fumes.
This type of structure can clog more often than others, especially if the volume of water flow is not too large. However, it is very simply removed and freed from the resulting cork.
In addition, the model has excellent aesthetic qualities, low cost and high throughput. The sanitary siphon for the toilet is also arranged according to this principle.
Bottle
This design is optimal for use in confined spaces due to its compact shape. For models installed on the sink in the bathroom, a special pipe is provided for connecting the drain hose of the washing machine.
The general view of the device is presented in the form of a vessel that resembles a bottle with a vertical inlet and horizontal outlet for connecting to the sewer.
The design of the vessel is composed of two halves, docked below the outlet pipe on a threaded connection, sealed with a rubber gasket. This siphon is characterized by the best mobility in relation to the conclusions of sewer pipes.
Dry
What are their features? This type of drainage device is presented in the form of a short siphon designed for the sink. This is a fairly new invention, but due to its effectiveness the model is in great demand.
In places where my dishes are not systematic and there is the possibility of a water shutter drying out, dry plumbing siphons are best suited.
The design feature of this sample is a special buoy inside. When water enters the siphon, the element floats, passing water into the sewer. And when the flow of liquid stops, the buoy lowers again, blocking the drain pipe.

Traditional
Today it is the most common design for a sanitary sink siphon, which is equipped with plastic or rubberized plugs. The process of water discharge in this case is done manually, but the simplicity of this device has a number of useful qualities:

Semi-automatic

Selection rules
When purchasing a siphon for your system, you must take into account certain rules for the similarity of elements. The gauge of the outlet well of the sink must match the capabilities of the nozzle used. If there are two inputs in the siphon, then it is necessary to regulate the order of flow. In other words, it is not practical to use the sink when the washing machine is running. This point needs to be considered before collecting a sanitary siphon.
