One of the most mysterious and mysterious areas of Moscow is the Patriarch Ponds. This place is covered with numerous myths and legends. The creation of such glory was facilitated by the writer M. A. The history of the Patriarch's Ponds begins much earlier. At the very end of the sixteenth century in this place was the residence of Patriarch Joachim. Then the Patriarchal settlement appeared.

To grow fish for the patriarch, three ponds were dug, which were later called the Patriarchs. Unfortunately, only one survived to this day, and only the name of Trekhprudny lane speaks of the existence of others. After the end of the war, one thousand eight hundred and twelve, the Russian poet I. Dmitriev moved to the Patriarch Ponds to "live his life" . He lived here for twenty years.

In Soviet times, the Patriarch's Ponds wanted (and even made such an attempt) to rename them Pioneer. Fortunately, the name did not take root. The patriarchal ponds, both in the past and today, are an elite place; famous and well-to-do people live here.

Since 2003, Patriarch's Ponds have been a heritage site. The state protects the park, pond and pavilion. A grandiose plan has been developed for the reconstruction of this historic district.
