One of the most mysterious and mysterious areas of Moscow is the Patriarch Ponds. This place is covered with numerous myths and legends. The creation of such glory was facilitated by the writer M. A. The history of the Patriarch's Ponds begins much earlier. Once upon a time in this area there was the Kozie swamp (in memory of it the Bolshoi Kozikhinsky and Maly Kozikhinsky lanes were later named). At the very end of the sixteenth century in this place was the residence of Patriarch Joachim. Then the Patriarchal settlement appeared.
To grow fish for the patriarch, three ponds were dug, which were later called the Patriarchs. Unfortunately, only one survived to this day, and only the name of Trekhprudny lane speaks of the existence of others. After the end of the war, one thousand eight hundred and twelve, the Russian poet I. Dmitriev moved to the Patriarch Ponds to "live his life" . He lived here for twenty years.

L.N. came to the rink of the Patriarch's Ponds Tolstoy. He brought his daughters here to skate. Every winter a beautiful natural ice rink appeared here. Many great people came to the Patriarch's Ponds. The skating rink was a meeting place. Everyone here was fun and carefree.
Not far from the Patriarch's Ponds lived the great Vladimir Mayakovsky, here Alexander Blok spent one winter in Moscow. Nearby lived a whole dynasty of famous Russian Sadovsky actors. In Soviet times, the Patriarch's Ponds wanted (and even made such an attempt) to rename them Pioneer. Fortunately, the name did not take root. The patriarchal ponds, both in the past and today, are an elite place; famous and well-to-do people live here.
This is one of the prestigious areas of Moscow. Very close to Tverskaya street, the Garden Ring, the Mossovet Theater and the
theater on Malaya Bronnaya. Since 2003, Patriarch's Ponds have been a heritage site. The state protects the park, pond and pavilion. A grandiose plan has been developed for the
