Origami is not only the Japanese art of turning paper into interesting shapes. But this is also a fascinating process that will appeal to both an adult and a child. Moreover, with the help of simple movements, you can make several new toys. Today we suggest you learn how to make a mouse out of paper with your own hands.
Origami mouse
- Before you make a mouse out of paper with your own hands, prepare a rectangular piece of paper. It needs to be bent in half, aligned, and then tucked up and down from the line in the middle. If you took a two-color paper, then fold it with the main color up.
- Then open the right pocket and wrap it (Figure 2).
- Spread out the part as shown in picture 3.
- Now you need to bend the left side to the right. A rhombus should form.
- Turn the wings of the right part to the right. You should get an even detail, as in illustration 6.
- Bend it in half along a horizontal line.
- Now make a vertical fold as shown in pictures 7 and 8.
- Bend the upper right side diagonally.
- Turn the βearsβ of the triangle to the left, as shown in picture 10.
- Wrap the ends of the mouse ears.
- Flip the shape.
- Bend the triangle as shown in image 13.
- Flip the shape.
- Draw a marker with eyes, nose, mouth and antennae.

- Now you need to bend the upper edge a little (picture 4).
- The bottom of the figure is tilted back (picture 5).

Paper 3D mouse
A master class on how to make a mouse out of paper so that it is as realistic as possible:
- You will need to take a piece of square paper. It is best to choose two-tone leaves: white on one side and gray on the other.
- Lay it in front of you with the white side up and so that it is a rhombus (picture 1).
- Fold the leaf in half - connect the top with the bottom. And then spread it out.
- Now you need to bend the top and bottom to the fold in the middle. Do as shown in picture 1.
- Make two more folds. To do this, wrap the top and bottom of the new figure to the center (image 2).
- Now you need to turn the right side of the right part of the part to the left as shown in Figure 3.
- When all the elements are wrapped and new fold lines are formed, you need to turn the edge of the upper triangle under the bottom (see picture 4).
- The left triangle also needs to be turned back (Figure 5).
- Now fold the edges to the left again, as in image 6.
- Fold the shape in half horizontally.
- Unscrew the triangles from above (picture 8).
- Make the ears as in image 9.
- Now you need to make a ponytail. To do this, collapse the right side, as in picture 10. Then turn the tail inward and fold it up again (see illustrations 11 and 12).
- Fold the tail in half and flip the figure on its side (picture 13).
