He was later transferred to the Central Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Death, funeral
Kolesnikov’s life ended on June 16, 2014. According to the official version, during interrogation, he asked for a toilet, but, going out into the corridor, knocked down a police officer, ran to the window and jumped out of the balcony. Doubt
Lawyer Anna Stavitskaya, spoke about the events on the day of the death of the former general, June 16. According to her, Kolesnikov and investigator Novikov went to the balcony together. What happened there is unknown. But the investigator returned alone already. He said that the major general jumped out of the window.
A little later, Vladimir Markin, a representative of the Investigative Committee, voiced another version, according to which the defendant shot down a policeman, ran to the balcony and jumped out of it. But there is a slight discrepancy here: how did Boris Kolesnikov know where the balcony is open?
The accused’s wife Victoria repeatedly said that she was forbidden to see her husband, and she never met him while he was in jail. Victoria could not believe that her husband committed suicide, leaving her one and three young children. He loved his family too much and would never do that, she said.
Anton Tsvetkov, chairman of the PMC, said after the death of the suspect that Boris had repeatedly expressed fears and was afraid of something while he was in the pre-trial detention center. He even slipped phrases that he was afraid of someone from close people. Boris Kolesnikov died at the age of 37, leaving his wife and children.
