Until recently, large-scale objects with exotic marine fish were located in the Russian capital, but now they have also appeared on the periphery.
In 2011, the largest aquarium in Russia, which covers an area equal to six thousand square meters, opened its doors to visitors. It is called the Sochi Dicovery World Aquarium. In two aquariums, you can see the coastal shallows and rocks. Upon careful examination in a grotto with the remains of a sunken schooner, you can even notice the tail of a mermaid. Special containers are filled with fresh water, in which sea salt is then dissolved.
The inhabitants of the seabed are provided with proper care. This responsibility is assigned to an experienced team of divers and aquarists. They not only monitor the purity of the underwater world, but also provide a healthy microclimate in it. The final stage of the excursion is the lagoon, where stingrays and small sharks live, as well as an open type aquarium in which sea urchins and horseshoe crabs live.

It should be noted that Russia's largest aquarium in Sochi offers fairly affordable prices for its services. The price of an adult ticket is 600 rubles, and a child ticket (from 4 to 12 years old) - 400 rubles.
Preferential categories of citizens can go on an excursion for 350 rubles. On the territory of the entertainment complex, you can take photos and videos, and this privilege will cost you only 100 rubles. Diving service is also provided. For 300 rubles, everyone can plunge into the abyss of sea water for half an hour on their own.
The largest aquarium in the south of Russia during the summer is open from 10.00 to 19.00, and the rest of the time the working day is reduced by an hour. Weekends are Monday and Tuesday.
