In addition to the central characters of the computer game "The Witcher 3", the RPG world is filled with a bunch of minor heroes, some of which are slightly inferior to the main ones in the elaboration and description. Geralt is closely associated with sorceresses, so most of his adventures in the game and in the book can not do without their participation. Fighting Wild Hunt coexists with romantic relationships in which characters are constantly getting involved. This fate did not pass by a sorceress named Fringilla Vigo. A lover of this universe meets a character twice - once in a book, and a second time in the final part of The Witcher 3.
The author of the saga does not introduce the full biography of the sorceress, but you can learn a lot about her after reading the book “Baptism of Fire”, where Fringilla first appears. There, the girl holds a key role in the whole story.
In a computer game, Vigo appears during the passage of the plot quest Veni Vidi Vigo, during which Geralt needs to gather strength to fight Wild Hunt. The witcher helps the sorceress with release in exchange for invaluable help.
The image and appearance of the heroine in the book and the game are similar. In both cases, the girl is represented with a short haircut, black hair and green eyes. Thanks to her natural beauty, she managed to fall in love with the witcher. It is worth recalling that most sorceresses maintain their beauty with the help of magic, since all of them have long outgrown a young age. It did not concern Vigo.
Book Appearance
The author introduces the reader to Fringilla after the arrival of Geralt and his team in Tussent. The sorceress has a special task - to trick the witcher and keep him in the Tussent lands for as long as possible. Up to this point, the sorceress helps the main character of the book, Jennifer, escape after the convention meeting through the portal.
The efforts of Vigo are not in vain, and Geralt has feelings for the girl. She did not even have to use her witching charms. Despite falling in love, the witcher cannot forget Yennifer, periodically confusing names. He also emphasizes that the unforgettable aroma of lilac and gooseberry cannot interrupt the smell of ambergris and roses emanating from Fringilla, which makes Geralt even more difficult to forget about his feelings for another sorceress.
During their communication, the sorceress agrees to help the witcher with the restoration of his medallion. The enchantress from the Nilfgaard Empire gives Geralt a silver medallion, but the protagonist was not happy with such help. He did not yet know that this particular medallion would play an important role in the future.
In parallel, the sorceress is trying to get information about the refuge of Wilgefort. The Witcher is not so easy to deceive even the one to which he feels sympathy. Because of this, Geralt deliberately misleads Vigo and provides false data.
Appearance in the game
In The Witcher 3, the sorceress appears while completing the quest Veni Vidi Vigo. Fringilla is detained on an imperial ship. Teleporting there will fail, breaking through a fight is suicide. Therefore, Geralt has no choice but to invisibly penetrate. In order for the emperor to let the sorceress go, you need to provide a letter from Ian to Emperor Emgyr, who can immediately convince him. After completing the quest, you can talk with the sorceress and ask her some questions that interest you.

Fringilla is kind and condescending to everyone, but the principles fade into the background when it comes to achieving goals. She sets all the rules for herself and observes only them.
