The times when all the work was done manually have long passed. Currently, all possible processes are becoming mechanized. For this, designers and scientists (and sometimes just amateurs) are creating new machines. Even a process such as chopping wood is no longer necessary to perform manually. Invented many options for devices that will cope with this task. Among them we can distinguish the woodcutter "Gorynych." It features high performance and long runtime. In its category of "home" machines, it is one of the most powerful.
Device and features
Hydraulic wood splitter “Gorynych” represents a strong metal frame on which a powerful engine, a convenient workplace are fixed. Separation of wood into parts is carried out by a hardened knife, which has an extended service life.
The cleaver moves due to the hydraulic drive, which is capable of developing a force of up to 6 tons. Due to this, the splitting process is fast, smooth and jerky. Consider the characteristics of devices with an electric drive on the example of the Gorynych 6T splitter. It works from an electric network with a voltage of 380 volts. Engine power is 4 kilowatts. It takes only 2 seconds to split a single workpiece 40 centimeters long. When increasing the length of the workpiece to 45 centimeters, the time of one cycle increases to 2.5 seconds. The maximum permissible block length is 50 centimeters.
The wood splitter radiator is made of copper. Thanks to this, the unit can work in any weather conditions around the clock. Performance remains even after harvesting 10 thousand cubic meters of wood. The hardened knife will work throughout the life of the unit.
Gas splitter
The gas splitter “Gorynych” is represented by the Honda GX 390 model, which has some advantages:
- Due to the gasoline drive, the unit can be used in places where there is no connection to the electrical network.
- The log splits in one pass of the cleaver. It takes no more than 2.5 seconds. And with a shorter log length, even less time is spent.
- The operator himself chooses how many parts it is necessary to divide the log. This is regulated by the installation of the individual elements of the cleaver.
- The knife is height adjustable. Due to this, you can adjust the performance of the device.
- All parts of the hydraulic system are highly durable. They are able to work in heavy mode. Thanks to this, the woodcutter Gorynych withstands continuous operation.
- A spacious workplace allows the operator to comfortably accommodate for work.
- The frame and other structural elements are coated with a special varnish that protects the unit from environmental influences.
- The hydrocolumn is maintainable. Failed parts are easy to remove and replace with new ones. Spare parts are sold in stores where they can be purchased without problems.
