Homefront is a multiplayer game developed by THQ in the first-person shooter genre. The release took place in March 2011. The shooter is available on personal computers, PS3 and X-Box 360. The game has multi-player and single-player modes. Six months before the start of sales of the game, the creators presented a video with the gameplay of their product.
According to the idea of the developers, the Homefront game should have consisted of 13 parts, but then it was decided to cut the number of missions almost twice - to seven parts. But as the game’s developers themselves said, it didn’t have a special effect on the plot.
Game Creation and Support
The announcement of the game took place in 2009. About 50 million US dollars were allocated for the project. Developers, the company Kaos Studios, in the middle of summer 2011 released the first package for playing on the Web. Gamers have the opportunity to participate in battles at the hydroelectric power station and in battles in the vicinity of the shopping center, which was in one of the chapters of the story game.
In late summer 2011, a second package of cards was released. Now for the multiplayer game, the battles at Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge have become available. In command mode, a new type of battle has appeared - control of key points.
Plot
The game takes place in 2025. This is the period of the final “demise” of the American economy. After that, North Korea drops a nuclear bomb on the States and captures the western part of the state.
The Americans do not have the armed forces, but the inhabitants of the country begin to conduct a guerrilla war with the invader. The main task of the rebels is to raise people in San Francisco and start an uprising there, since it is in this district of California that the largest base of Koreans is located.
Game heroes
The main character's name is Robert Jacobs. In the past, he was a military pilot in the United States Army. He is assisted by the rebels: Rihanna, Morgan, Hopper, Boone, Brooks and J.P.
Connor Morgan eventually became the leader of the rebels. It is characterized by short temper and aggressiveness. These character traits have repeatedly been the cause of a large number of conflicts between Connor and Boone. Rihanna is the real opposite of Morgan. She is calm and reasonable, rarely agrees with how Connor behaves with enemies and friends.
Hopper is one of the rebels. He is a good technician. However, many people dislike this Homefront character because of his Korean descent. Boone is the leader of the rebel movement in San Francisco. Before the war, he was a policeman in one of the precincts. He believes that the main task of the whole cell is to ensure the protection of civilians.
Brooks, J.P. are rank and file rebels who meet during Homefront. Also during the game, the gamer gets acquainted with such heroes as US Army sergeant Keyes, Private Hernandez, traitor Arnie, Korean Army officer Jeong and others.
Part 1
Passage Homefront begins with the fact that the main character Koreans are captured. While Jacobs is led to the bus, he watches everything that the invaders do. After a couple of minutes, Connor and Rihanna save Jacobs and give him the trunk. Next, the action moves to the alley along which Connor leads the heroes, killing enemies along the way.
Near the gas station you can hide from the Koreans, firing from them and throwing grenades at the enemies. Next, crawl along the wall until Connor signals that the path is clear. After this, you must run to the tree on which the house is located. The hero climbs a tree, but then the Koreans knock him out of a grenade launcher.
Then the character comes to his senses and tries to escape from the scene, because in addition to the Korean infantry, military equipment is also being pulled. The character of the game runs to the house, climbs the stairs, throws a grenade at the Koreans and jumps down.
Next, Jacobs meets Boon, the leader of the resistance. The military is being pulled to the house. They are trying to smoke Americans on the street. To effectively fight back, it is necessary to use grenades. After some time, Koreans begin to use toxic gas. You can escape from the house through a small room to the left of the main entrance. The hero gets at his disposal "Goliath", with the help of which he destroys the military equipment of the occupier.
Part 2
The passage of the second part of the game begins with the fact that the hero wakes up and follows Bun again. The gamer can interact with the local population. Boone leads Jacobs to a group of rebels. You need to listen to the briefing and start collecting equipment before the performance.
The first task in the second mission of passing Homefront is to destroy the guard cannon. It is necessary to quickly cross from one shelter to another. When Jacobs is close to the cannon, a grenade must be thrown.
Then the player runs to one of the houses where he kills the guard. After that, it is necessary to destroy all Koreans in the yard. From home, Jacobs heads to the school, where Rihanna is waiting for him. At school, Jacobs learns that Boone was injured. The wounded make some adjustments to the plans of the American rebels. Rihanna and Boone remain at school, and Jacobs goes to the arsenal, where the gamer can independently choose the weapon that he likes best.
The next destination is a playground. As elsewhere, there are many armed Koreans on it. It is clear that their hero also kills. There, Jacobs meets Connor and follows him to the tunnel to wait out for some time in safety.
Having got out of the tunnel, the main character receives a new task, the essence of which is to free a stranger named Arnie. Moving around the camp, Jacobs finds a prisoner. Arnie leads the hero to the warehouse. There they are ambushed. Robert Jacobs kills several Korean soldiers and climbs the stairs, trying to get out of the trap. Near the baseball field, Robert meets Connor again. He opens fire on the enemies. The next task is to destroy the watch towers. The central character interacts with Hopper, blows up the towers and jumps into the pit, from which he tries to get in touch with Rihanna. On this passage of the second part of the game Homefront ends.
Part 3
The main character goes to an APC, after which he listens to the details of the assignment. Jacobs follows Rihanna and gets a sniper rifle. He needs to take a sniper position in one of the houses and shoot all enemies after hitting phosphorus.
The first to hit is a grenade launcher located on the tower. The second rebel strike is inaccurate. He enters the building where Jacobs is located. He gets out through smoke and flame, after which he waits until everything settles down, and begins his journey with the Goliath.
Shops should be watched, since armed Koreans come from there. First of all, it is necessary to kill those who have EMP, since they do not allow you to use all the abilities of Goliath. The next targets are a helicopter and a Hammer. After that, the hero has to defend himself. First you need to blow up tanks, otherwise the mission will fail. After the player completes this part of the mission, you need to go to the warehouse, where there are a large number of Korean soldiers. The rifle will not save. You should take a shotgun. Running ahead of the engine is not necessary. Better to work with partners.
After leaving the warehouse, you must start to run to the departing truck in order to attach a beacon to it. After that, Jacobs returns to Connor and Rihanna. Inside the warehouse, you should move quickly, as the building itself begins to crumble. The rebels are moving to the roof and jumping on the truck.
Part 4
This stage begins with the heroes returning to their base, where they notice mountains of dead bodies. Boone was chained to a swing. He was tortured until he died. Connor leads Rihanna and Jacobs to the main street, where the heroes will be ambushed. First you need to kill snipers and machine gunners. A little later, the hero uses the "Goliath" and destroys the "Hammer". On the roofs there are a large number of rocket launchers. All of them must be immediately destroyed, since they aim at Goliath, and its destruction means the failure of the mission. With the help of the same "Goliath," Jacobs cleans the wall from hordes of the enemy. Do not leave other rebels, as the Korean tank will immediately destroy the hero.
Connor leads Jacobs to Brooks. Together they go to the wall where the control console should be activated. Korean soldiers are trying to prevent this. Jacobs must destroy them. Before you go out, you should take a sniper rifle and clean the roofs from grenade launchers. Having activated the console, the heroes go to their team, which is located in one of the nearby offices. Rihanna leads everyone to the roof. Jacobs takes a grenade launcher and destroys his beloved Goliath. Part 5
Negotiations with the captain did not give a positive result. Jacobs is forced to start clearing the territory from the enemy. He runs to the gate, after which he follows Connor, carrying out all the commands of the new leader of the rebel cell. If Jacobs doesn't do what Connor orders, then the mission will fail. Heroes should not be detected by the enemy. Goals to be eliminated are noted. Having completed all his plans, the main character goes to the river.
On the banks of the river are many Koreans. Naturally, all of them must be destroyed, trying to get to the helicopter. Not far from the broken helicopter is a church. Near her, Jacobs meets other rebels. The goal of the mission is to bring all American warriors together. After the enemies appear, Jacobs runs upstairs with a sniper rifle. We must remember that you can only shoot after Connor's command. A shot to the go-ahead is a mission failure. We must wait until all the allies get in the truck and arrive at the helicopter. After that, Jacobs himself runs to the transport and for a while becomes a pilot again.
Part 6
From a helicopter, Jacobs destroys the Koreans, who are running along the highway, trying to bring down the “turntable”. The gamer must remember that in addition to firing, even more attention should be paid to piloting, as Korean soldiers begin to launch rockets in a helicopter. One hit is the end of the mission.
The helicopter flies behind the convoy, flying a tunnel, where you should be especially careful not to hook anything. At the convoy, the rebels destroy the entire guard and capture three tanks. The mission's new mission is to escort the convoy. Along the way, the helicopter destroys all anti-aircraft guns. You should fly in front of the convoy to remove all obstacles that may arise on the way.
At the bridge, Hopper begins to lay explosives. The protagonist must cover him all this time. Destroy Korean equipment as quickly as possible. After a while, Connor gives a signal, which means that Jacobs needs to return to the tanks.
Part 7
The last part of the game begins with Jacobs flying in a helicopter to the bridge. After landing, the path to the tower begins. First you need to break the grenade launchers, which are located in one of the buildings. A Korean tank appears later. To destroy it, you must find the RPG in the barracks.
After the destruction of the tank, Jacobs goes after Connor, killing enemies with a machine gun. The rebels approach the bridge and wait for the enemy vehicles to pass. We must follow Connor again. At the gates, regrouping takes place, and the bridge begins to be cleared from the Korean occupiers. Jacobs throws grenades at the turrets, grabs a rocket launcher and knocks down a helicopter. After that, he goes to the anti-aircraft guns. The next task is to cover up Hopper, who is busy with equipment. Using a drone, you must destroy the convoy and immediately run to the "Hammer". The final goal of Homefront is to destroy the Goliath. It is necessary to shoot him until he explodes, and at the time of the use of missiles by the Koreans, Jacobs must use suppressors. On that single-player campaign of the game ends.

The trainer itself is copied to the game folder, it starts before launching Homefront. Pressing the keys 1, 2, 3, 4 during the passage of a single campaign gives the hero a full life, cartridges, the ability to shoot without reloading and grenades, respectively.
The second mini-program makes it possible to have unlimited ammunition, receive invulnerability, slow down the enemy. Also, a superhero can begin to move very quickly, jump high and kill the enemy with one shot.
