Before growing root celery in open ground, you need to pick. This is done as soon as 2 full leaflets appear on your seedlings. Transplant the plants into separate cups or boxes, shortening the root by a third. This contributes to the development of a healthy root crop. How to grow celery in the garden
Celery is not picky about the soil, but some soil features need to be considered. You can add humus and mineral fertilizers for root crops to the ground. How to care for celery root

- loosen the soil and weed the bed, removing weeds;
