According to most literary critics, Alexei Tolstoy created the fairy tale "The Golden Key, or The Adventures of Pinocchio" based on the works of the Italian writer Carlo Collodi. The author of the fairy tale story has repeatedly spoken about the same thing.
A fairy tale called "Pinocchio, or the adventures of the Wooden Doll" became known in Russia in 1908, after translating it into Russian.
