Natalya Konchalovskaya is a famous Russian poetess, writer and translator. Basically, she created works for children. She was the wife of the Soviet poet Sergei Mikhalkov, the mother of famous Russian directors Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrei Konchalovsky.
early years
Natalya Konchalovskaya was born in St. Petersburg in 1903. She was the daughter of the famous artist Pyotr Petrovich Konchalovsky, her maternal grandfather was another legendary Russian painter Vasily Ivanovich Surikov. When the couple settled in Seattle, Alexey and Natalia had already formalized their relationship.

Sergey Mikhalkov
Her second choice was Sergei Mikhalkov, who at that time was still a little-known poet, and besides, she was ten years younger than her. They played the wedding in 1936, and a year later Natalya found out that Bogdanov committed suicide shortly after his arrest.
Life together in the second marriage was not easy, but the couple always knew how to find a compromise in relations and lived together for more than 50 years. Natalya’s daughter from her first marriage, her second husband adopted and raised as a native, they also had two sons - Nikita and Andrey.
Children
