Many women, even in the most severe frosts, do not like to wear a hat, and are limited to only one hood on a jacket, coat or fur coat. Some can not find a favorite model, others believe that this headdress is absolutely not suitable for them. And by the way, there is such a hat that almost all women face. This model is called a Kubanka.
The history of the creation of the cap-hat
This headdress owes its origin to the hat, which in the XV-XVI century, men in the Caucasus preferred to wear. It was from there that such a cap model came to the Kuban. At first, the Cossacks wore the papakha directly on her head, but it seemed to them uncomfortable, since it often subsided while riding horses. Then the kubanka was made a little lower, while leaving the same cylindrical shape.
Among the men of the Kuban, this hat was the main winter hat. It was worn on weekdays and on holidays. As a female headdress, kubanka hats first appeared in the 80s of the twentieth century. At that time, all the ladies of the USSR dreamed of having her in the wardrobe. The men's Cossack hat was short-haired, mainly from astrakhan. The female version of the kubanka was made mainly with long-nap fur.
Today, this winter hat is back in trend. Kubanok models are represented by a fairly wide range, which allows each woman to choose the option that suits her.
Fur hat-kubanka: description
Kubanka is a short hat with a cylindrical shape. It consists of a knitted base, which acts as a lining and a fur rim. The cylindrical cap-hat has a flat bottom. The Cossacks it was trimmed with velvet, and in modern models of hats it is covered with the same fur as the main rim.
As a rule, the Kubanka is sewn from natural fur of mink, polar fox, silver fox, raccoon. It is fluffy and warm, therefore it perfectly warms even in the most severe frosts, which is especially important for residents of the northern countries and individual regions of Russia. Less common is a cap-hat made of faux fur or knitted from wool.
Who is it for?
Each girl will be able to pick up a cap-hat. But if women with aristocratic facial features, this model fits perfectly, then chubby ladies will have more difficult. They need to remove the emphasis from the massive lower part of the face. This will help the game of color. For example, white-skinned women should choose taller hats that visually extend their faces.
Kubanok come in a variety of colors and shades. They can be matched to the tone of the main wardrobe, and under the eyes or hair.
Gray-eyed blondes are ideally suited with a
gray fur cap-hat. Dark brown, chocolate hats will suit brown-eyed girls. Women with green eyes will like kubanka with light beige fur, and black hats will attract the attention of dark-eyed ladies.
What to wear a cap hat with?
On the catwalks, long-legged models wear kubanka with summer dresses and evening dresses. But in real winter conditions, such a wardrobe option would clearly be inappropriate. What do Cuban hats wear? There are several options:
- with fur vests;
- with a coat with horizontal fur trim;
- with stylish insulated fitted coats without fur (a prerequisite - the coat should be plain);
- with shortened jackets combined with a warm long skirt;
- with a fur coat. But on one condition: the tone of the fur coat should completely match the color of the fur trim on the hat.
Kubanka is a hat for true ladies, therefore the image as a whole should be aristocratic, touching and feminine. This hat does not fit sports blown and bright youth jackets.
