Each person lives in the world of those hopes, illusions, ideas that he produces for himself. Especially a poet, especially one like Alexander Blok. Worlds of different people may intersect, but they may not correlate at all. The loneliness that Blok experiences in the restaurant, the analysis will show how completely special, the attitude of his hero is unique to his hero, who wants to live like everyone else, but cannot.
Memories
Was or was not this burnt and spread sky that the dawn fire made pale and on which lanterns stand out?
Verb verbs are used only in the past tense. All the memoirs of his lyrical hero are similar to illusions, the softness and tenderness of which is largely created by the alliterations of the repeating “L”, “H”. But the beginning consists of the assonances of “neither”, “not”, which sounds in pronunciation as “neither”, “not”. All this immediately creates a subtle piercing melody, woven with nostalgia.
Where is loneliness sharper?
The hero placed Block in a restaurant. The analysis shows both his presence in a room crowded with people and a certain alienation - he is at the window, and therefore, at the same time outdoors.
He is clearly alone at the table and, looking around the room, meets an unearthly vision. The reader understands this right away - he would not have ordered another girl to convey in a tall glass filled with golden champagne a black rose as a symbol of sadness and love. Violins sing about her. The girl is young, refined and exalted. She is a hero exalted immediately and unconditionally. The full room immediately becomes empty. So Block draws it. Only two remain in the restaurant (analysis will emphasize this).
Together and separately
She looked haughtily at the person who sent the sign of attention. The lyrical hero was embarrassed, but defiantly held her gaze. And even in response he bowed slightly. The presence of consonants in the verbs “looked and met”, standing nearby, slightly inhibits what is happening, deprives him of instantness. And then the rumbling "P" will emphasize the intentional, thoughtful sharpness of the girl when addressing her to her companion. Nevertheless, her hands trembled a little, under the frantic sounds of music.

She did not remain indifferent to the silent message and worship of her beauty. Contrary to her young contempt (a wonderful metaphor), the girl is attracted to a stranger. To stop her uncontrollable feelings, she quickly leaves the restaurant, like a frightened bird. Light as a dream, she walks past a table, smelling of perfume, vibrating the stagnant restaurant air, the movement of silks that are whispering in alarm. The hissing "F" and "W" convey the rustling of silk. Soft "L" emphasize the grace of the heroine's movements. So Block continues in the restaurant (analysis says this) to show the girl’s fear of a sudden feeling and flight from him. It’s just that she never experienced anything like this and rushed off, like a bird from a cage.
Seeing off
The lyrical hero is left alone again. The elevated connection was interrupted, and there is no hope of its resumption. This is described in the analysis of the poem of the block "In the restaurant". Although he sees her inviting looks in the mirrors - follow me, stop, hold, do not leave me with a bored gentleman. But the hero remains motionless - he also has pride beyond measure, which does not allow him to budge, run, catch up, beg, while losing his face. And let the dancing gypsies continue to rattle the monists and sing with shrill voices about love, vulgarizing it.
Thus ends the analysis of the poem of the block “In the restaurant”.
Poetic trails
Sharing the secrets of Block's sound recording is an ungrateful and very difficult task. The text of the article was a small attempt to reflect the individual features of the poet's verse. But it is simply overflowing with bright musical richness, when there is a roll-call of sounds, thanks to which the verses are expressive and expressive. Let’s do a simpler analysis of the verse “In a Restaurant” The block uses epithets (dawn has a fire), simple comparisons (the sky is pale, the dawn is yellow). All the second quatrain is an amazingly beautiful oxymoron. Anapest, which wrote a poem, forming a rhythm and sound, makes you follow the actions of the lyrical hero and empathize with him.
Images of women in Blok's lyrics
Behind the faces hidden by dark veils or masks, behind the silks encircling the camp, behind narrow hands, women are looming in the fog or in the haze, who drive them crazy, with their appearance, gaze, gesture. They are found on the streets, but more often among restaurant tables or on stage.
This is partly an analysis of Blok’s poem “In a Restaurant”. You can briefly ask: “Who inspired the poet to create ethereal images”? There were few of these women. As the poet said before his death, I had two women: "Lyuba (his wife) and everyone else." But to all, and most of all, four women influenced him, there was a reverent attitude, admiration and passion. Who were they? Ksenia Sadovskaya, when he first fell passionately in love with 16 years old, Lyubov Mendeleeva, his wife, his beautiful lady, Natalya Volokhova, dramatic actress and Lyubov Andreeva-Delmas, opera singer. He rushed between women until he returned to his wife, whom he was already faithful until his death in 1921.
