In addition to actually completing side quests to gain the coveted experience and skills, you also have the opportunity to complete 2 quests that will help you in the battle with Keiran. First of all, during the “Obscene Proposal” assignment, a man will come up to your company with Vernon Rocher, offering his help. After listening to him, you will learn that Loredo hides valuable material in the courtyard of the residence, which is part of the Keiran trap. A pointer appears on the minimap showing the location of this item. Take it, you will need it. You will read further description of the assignment further.
The second quest is the preparation of the elixir "Mongoose", which protects Geralt from the harmful effects of the poisonous Keiran. To do this, you have to find a tenekost. Where exactly? You can ask Cedric about this, or you can immediately go to the cave under the waterfall. A valuable plant awaits you there. The Witcher 2 - How to Kill Keiran

This will unlock the new quest in the game The Witcher 2 - Keiran: The Question of Price. Next, go to Cedric, who can tell you even more information about the monster. After the tentacle is chained to the ground, cut it off. Also remember that you can use the trap by simply placing it on the battlefield. As soon as Keiran loses three tentacles, the QTE scene starts. Its sequence is as follows: RMB - LMB - Space. After the destruction of the bridge, you should climb its wreckage and blow up the monster (Geralt will do this automatically). The battle is over! Collect valuable items and follow the reward in the Flotzam.
