Description
The quest “Ritual Spell of Destruction” in Skyrim is a secondary task of the Winterhold College lineup. Simply put, it is not necessary to complete it to complete the main storyline. The quest will allow you to learn some particularly powerful spells, which certainly will be useful to you in battles with numerous enemies.
Please note that you just won’t be able to start the task. To begin with, your hero must become a powerful enough magician, pumping the skill "Destruction" to level 100. Only after this, the College of Winterhold will consider you worthy and allow you to study secret knowledge.
Walkthrough
The passage of the "Ritual Spell of Destruction" in Skyrim begins with a conversation with Faralda. You can find her, as you might guess, in the College of Winterhold. After a short dialogue, during which you need to ask Farald about further training, altmerka will give you the tome “Strength of the Elements”. The book describes the ritual necessary to gain new magical power. Conduct it should be in special locations, the search for which you just do.
First you need to head west of Dunstar. As a result, you will reach the Windmill - the ruins in which the first part of the ritual should be performed. Find the pedestal in the middle of the ruins, put the Elemental Power on it, and then activate it. After that, apply any fire spell to the tome. If everything is done correctly, an entry appears in the book indicating the next location.
Now follow to the Northern mountain outpost. Here you again need to put the book on the altar, activate it and cast a spell. True, this time it’s already frosty.
Visit the Four Skulls post, activate the altar and thoroughly fry the tome with lightning. Nothing will happen to the book, but after reading it, you will learn a powerful spell called the “Fire Storm”. Now it remains only to return to Faralda and report on the completion of the quest.
Reward
Well, now, in fact, about why you performed the task. The Fire Storm spell, which serves as a reward for completing the quest, allows you to inflict impressive damage to all enemies around your hero. At the same time, weak opponents will not only lose some of their health, but will also try to escape from the battlefield.
But that is not all! As soon as the quest is completed, Faralda will begin to sell two additional spells - “Buran” and “Thunderstorm with Lightning”. The first hits the enemies and robs them of their supply of strength, and the second, besides causing damage, burns the mana of the enemy.
