A city rapidly developing in the steppe. Republic of Kazakhstan, capital of Astana

One of the largest and rapidly developing countries in Asia is Kazakhstan, whose capital, Astana, has become one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

The history of this city begins in the distant 1830. It was then that a fortress was built on the banks of the Ishim River , which eventually turned into a city. Its founder is considered to be Colonel Fedor Kuzmich Shubin. The city received the name Akmolinsk, which it wore until 1961. At this time, the struggle began for the development of virgin lands, and Akmolinsk became the center of this sowing "battle." The Soviet government renamed it Tselinograd, and Kazakhstan, whose capital at that time was in Alma-Ata, acquired another large city, where significant funds were invested by the leadership of the republic and the Soviet Union. In 1992, the name of the city underwent another change: now it was called Akmola.

The city was the second largest and most significant in Kazakhstan until 1998. In June 1998, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev renamed Akmola to Astana by decree and transferred all state and financial facilities from Alma-Ata to Astana, making this city the capital of the state.

Kazakhstan, the capital

The Republic of Kazakhstan, the capital of Astana - now how it now sounds in the world. The result of this transfer was the active development of urban infrastructure, commercial and cultural facilities. The capital began to grow rapidly, turning from a provincial city into a beautiful metropolis with magnificent architectural forms in which European and Eastern styles are closely intertwined. To build a new Eurasian city, the President of Kazakhstan invited the leading architects of the world who created the fairy tale city.

On the third floor there is a beautiful green street with all kinds of fonts, impeccably manicured lawns and flower beds.
