Valery Osipov was a native Muscovite. Born in 1930. After graduation, he entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University. He worked for many years in the editorial offices of such leading publications as Pravda and Yunost.
Personal life
For fans of Soviet films, the name of this writer is associated not so much with the paintings to which he wrote the scripts, but with the name of a very famous actress. Valery Osipov, whose biography is closely related to domestic cinema, was married to Tatyana Samoilova. The actress is known, first of all, as the performer of the role of Anna Karenina and the main character in the lyrical film "Cranes are Flying."

But the journalist died all alone. The marriage of the writer and actress lasted ten years. Osipov suffered a serious illness, which served as the reason for the childlessness of the spouses. In 1959, according to the book “The Secret of the Siberian Platform”, a film was made. The main roles in the film were played by Tatyana Samoilova and Innokenty Smoktunovsky.

Among the figures that inspired such exemplary writers as Valery Osipov, there was certainly Vladimir Ulyanov. In 1972, the novel April was released. The book tells of the good and honest terrorists of the Ulyanovs, planning at the beginning of the last century the murder of an autocrat. The writer created a series of works about revolutionaries, which included the novel “The River Is Born by Streams” written in 1972. This work is also dedicated to the brother of Vladimir Ulyanov - Alexander.
