Public passenger transport in Moscow is developing more and more actively every year. The leadership of the capital has relied on the transfer of residents from personal vehicles, taking all possible measures and methods for this. The Moscow metro is desperately making its way beyond the Moscow Ring Road, as well as to those areas that are not yet covered by its underground web of moves. New stations are opened annually, the train schedule is optimized, and new amenities for passengers also appear. While driving in a train car, you can access the Internet for free. Metro ticket offices offer various options for fares: daily, economical, single, etc.
The general plan for the development of high-speed transport in Moscow was determined until 2025 and involves not only the extension of existing directions, but also the laying of new lines. One of them will pass through the Eastern District of the capital. The scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line has only eight stations so far, but in the long run it should be part of the branch of the third ring radius of Moscow.
Service area
The designed branch is very important from the point of view of traffic redirection. It will help relieve areas such as Kuzminki, Ryazan, Vykhino-Zhulebino, Nizhny Novgorod, and will also connect the areas of Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka with the center of the capital. Kozhukhovskaya metro line ends in a newly constructed residential area, territorially near the borders of the Lyubertsy fields.
The delivery date, originally planned for the end of 2016, has moved forward a year and has not yet been finalized. However, at the current time, the end date of the tunnel passage finishing work is determined for the first quarter of 2017. The scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line is laid in such a way that it will allow unloading the passenger flow on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line. The planned coverage is about 600 thousand people in the areas of its service. The burgundy branch of the metro is currently overloaded by 1.3 times in the average statistics, with peaks up to 2.4 during intense hours.
Economical construction
The following important decisions were made as measures to reduce the cost of the project. Almost all stations of the new branch will be shallow, with a depth of 15-30 meters. This will significantly reduce the capital costs of their construction. The scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line itself and the choice of sites for the construction of stopping points suggest the construction of island-type stations, which also reduces the burden of costs and facilitates estimates. During the construction of the sections, it is planned to take into account the experience of Spanish engineers and to carry out part of the project using the technology of one tunnel. According to the feasibility study, this will significantly reduce the cost of one meter of the passage of the earth mass.
Construction
On February 26, 2013, the construction of a new branch began with the process of drilling the first pile at the base of the wall of the future Nekrasovka station. The construction of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line is currently underway in intensive mode and simultaneously on several fronts. Passage of the Kosino-Nekrasovka stage is carried out immediately by two tunneling shields. A new electric depot, the construction of which has already begun in the Rudnevo industrial zone, will be opened specifically for the area under construction. A full range of design work is carried out by Mosinzhproekt OJSC. The new metro line Kozhukhovskaya is named for the microdistrict of the same name, through which it will pass. The branch has nothing to do with the Kozhukhovskaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow metro, as it was named after the former village of Kozhuhovo, which was located on today's territory of the South Port district of Moscow.
Where does it start?
Initially, Kozhukhovskaya metro line will not have its own interchange point on the Koltsevaya line. It will start from the Aviamotornaya station of the Kalinin line. Therefore, after putting it into operation, the load on the βyellow branchβ should increase. The platform of the same name station of the new line will be located perpendicular to the existing one and parallel to the railway tracks, not far from the platform of electric trains. It is worth noting that the passenger part of each station of the new branch will be separated from the tracks by automatic sliding doors, by analogy with the metro of St. Petersburg.
Big tpu
The next station, Nizhny Novgorod, will be located at the intersection of the street of the same name and Ryazan Avenue. It is planned to build a large TPU (transport hub) here. In the future, there will be a transition to the third interchange circuit (MKZhD), as well as to the Karacharovo platform of the Gorky direction of the Moscow Railway, which will be moved several hundred meters to the west for such an event.
Within the Moscow Ring Road
The next two stations, Stakhanovskaya Street and Okskaya Street, also adjoin Ryazansky Prospekt, which will have a beneficial effect on the comfortable delivery of passengers, both on personal and public transport. Station "South-East" (formerly "Ferghana street") - the last of the stations of this branch within the Moscow Ring Road was renamed at the request of residents of the district. The previous name ("Samarkand Boulevard") was also not accepted, since the branch was launched not along Volgogradsky Prospekt, but along the parallel Ryazansky. Before and after Southeast, the burgundy line crosses the Kozhukhovskaya metro line twice. A photo of the cleared site for the construction of the station's lobby in the area of ββthe same name streets is proof of this.
Beyond MKAD
The Kosino station will be opened in the immediate vicinity of the Lermontovsky Prospekt station. Perhaps in the future they will be connected by a connecting node. Saltykovskaya Street was located in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district, at the intersection of the same street and Dmitrievsky Street. The final name of the station has not yet been finalized, as well as the Kosino-Ukhtomskaya station following it. After it, the interlinear in the Rudnevo depot will leave the main tunnel. The final stop shown by the scheme of the Kozhukhovskaya metro line, Nekrasovka, is still in the field. The future sleeping area is just beginning to be erected here. However, the design density of buildings and the high number of floors of buildings leave no doubt - the station will take on most of the passenger traffic of Muscovites from this region. Yes, Nekrasovka is part of the city of Moscow.
