If you started this kind of toy, but you’re used to playing third-person games before, be prepared for the fact that you will have to reconsider your views on the virtual world. In the modern world, it is generally accepted that online first-person games are not the best idea. Why? Because most creators cannot recreate an online world in which the player will be really interested. Say, if you are going to play RPGs, then you are unlikely to like to watch a “mob” jump in front of you, which you need to “heat” with, say, a club. If you choose a war simulator, such as Counter Strike, then, of course, the first-person camera will be very useful.
But the leaders are still games that do not require an Internet connection. Today, developers offer a fairly wide range of genres and stories for first-person toys. Not so long ago, active development of online first-person games in the Survival Horror genre began, which interested quite a few players. We will talk about them a little later. Skyrim
Well, of course, everyone knows the Elder Scrolls. This is a fairly popular line of computer games, which gave us a wonderful fairy-tale world filled with magic and unusual features. Not so long ago, the fifth part of the line called Skyrim was released. She immediately received the highest marks thanks to her abilities. This is a completely independent game world. So, for example, in order not to "overwhelm" many quests, you need to be very careful in your actions - you should not swing your sword in front of citizens, and indeed in front of any characters (except, say, robbers).
Here there is the possibility of playing both from a third person, and from the first. The player can independently choose which mode is interesting and convenient for him. Honestly, Skyrim is one of the few developments in which the magical world is made up really interesting in order to play the game in the first person. SCP
Of course, everyone understands that, say, the same Skyrim needs to be bought. But there are free first-person games. This is usually the same Survival Horror, which was discussed a little higher. So, now you will get acquainted with the slightly obscure but interesting SCP world in which you will have to survive.
In general, many have heard of the so-called SCP-objects. You can read about them on the official pages of the SCP-project. Listing everything written on the whole site is useless. The bottom line is that everything that this abbreviation is assigned to is a paranormal object, creature or thing. Scientists conduct research on the study of these objects and contain each in certain conditions. In SCP games, you will be given the role of the “experimental rabbit,” who is sent to look after dangerous objects.
There are several game options. The first is SCP-087. Actually, those who read about objects know that this is nothing more than the name of one object, which can be called simply a “ghost staircase”. You have to go down the mysterious stairs. At first glance, nothing special, but the general atmosphere inspires fear. They say that when you reach a certain floor, you will hear children's crying and babbling, which calls for help. And after that ... A mysterious ghost will appear that will kill you. Will have to be saved!
The second version of the game is SCP-087b. Their two versions. First, 1.0 is a maze. In it you will have to get out of the mysterious and creepy maze in which the killer maniac (who is called the Dark Ego) lives. The second version 2.0 is the same labyrinth, but, unlike the first "part", innovations, more intricate labyrinths and scrimmers appear in it.
The last, to this day, developmental part of the SCP series is the part with the addition of Containment Breach. In it, you will play as a prisoner who is forced to care for a dangerous object of SCP-173. During the cleaning, a crash occurred somewhere in his cell, as a result of which the "monster" killer got free. As a result of the malfunctions, a power outage occurred, due to which all the objects contained in the complex got free. You have to get out of this place, while simultaneously locking or avoiding some dangerous objects. Now the game will be a struggle for your life!
Damned
And now your attention will open a new indie game in the genre of Survival Horror called Damned. This is a rather interesting survival game, which was released relatively recently. Now it is on sale, you can buy it on Steam to enjoy the wonderful gameplay. This toy is good because it is cooperative. Other players will play with you on the team!
As a matter of fact, when you sign up for Damned, a menu will become available where you can choose how you can start playing: connect to an existing room or create your own and wait for the players. When creating your own “room”, you can “throw out” the players you don’t want to play with, set up voice chat, chat, choose a game mode and a card to run on. The game has 4 surviving players and one of the three available monsters.
Each monster has its own abilities. Their main task is to find and kill all the "peaceful" players. Survivors must go through the map, finding the final room with the exit, and at the same time not fall into the clutches of the monsters. The whole game comes down to finding a huge number of different keys (which can be hidden anywhere), opening doors, finding any ways to open the final exit door (usually you need a hammer or crowbar, plus one or more silver keys) and finding batteries for your flashlight. You need to move very carefully around any terrain - everywhere there are traps that will help monsters find your players. At first glance, Damed seems a boring and uninteresting, banal game, but in fact - this is one of the best options for playing in the first person! In addition, Damned is still being developed. Having bought it, you can play it in the state in which it is now. After the release of the final version, you will not need to buy it again. All updates are downloaded for free. Try to survive and try to get out alive!
