Caring for plants in garden plots, flowerbeds and greenhouses is a delicate matter. In addition to fertilizing the soil, the correct approach to planting seedlings and sowing seeds, watering the earth must be done regularly, taking into account the area, categories of plants and soil characteristics.
In order not to damage the delicate stems of young plants, use a water spray as a device for irrigation. It comes in several forms.
In the simplest version, a special hose nozzle called the “spray gun” is used for manual irrigation. Such a spray gun is usually equipped with a trigger that allows you to meter the water supply, the accuracy of direction, turning a powerful jet into a spray, and helps to save the amount of water used.
The water spray is ideal for any size of the irrigated area, the main thing is to choose the right type of nozzle. Devices should be distributed throughout the area in need of watering so that they do not overlap. Using an automatic water sprayer, there is no need to spend time on manual watering, the system will work much more efficiently due to the correct redistribution of water, taking into account the time of year.
According to the principle of operation, nebulizers are divided into the following categories:
- Static - differ in the number of nozzles and work within a certain meter.
- Sector - have a small radius of action (up to 1.5 m), but perfectly decorate the site in combination with lighting.
- Rotary - adjust the angle of impact, jet power, range and type of jet. This type of spray makes it possible to quickly change the irrigation area.
- Pulse - spray water alternately at a long and short distance. There are additional connecting sockets, with the help of which a network of several sprayers is organized.
Models designed for an area of up to 180 sq.m. usually have 10-15 holes on the spray rod. A garden water sprayer with a large number of holes on the head or stem of the sprayer is installed in areas exceeding 200 sq.m.
For a garden or summer cottage, large sizes use special sprinklers called sprinklers. This water spray is divided into several types:
- The rectangular sprayer is equipped with a device that sets the range and width of the irrigated surface. The number of nozzles is 21 pcs.
- The circular sprinkler has nozzles with adjustable heads. The maximum distance of its action is 6.5 meters in diameter.
- A “Segner wheel” is a rotating tube with spray heads mounted at its ends. Another feature of such a sprayer is the ability to control 270 0 , which allows you to change the length of the watering stream.
Choosing the most effective sprayer for water is quite simple. If you yourself can’t figure out which device will best suit your site, you should seek expert advice.
