The black border ("Skyrim") in itself is a huge cave in which the main city in Skyrim called the Quiet City was erected by the Dwemer. During the Cliff War, the Falmer attempted to conquer the city, but eventually found that the Dwemer race mysteriously disappeared from Tamriel's face.
Septimius Segonius will tell Dovakin that the entrance to these caves was originally in the city of Alftand, but over time several tunnels to other Dwemer cities were also constructed.
What is this location?
The black limit (Skyrim) is one of the most extensive locations in the game. Access to this location will open after you activate the corresponding quest, because to open the entrance you need to have a specialized training area. At the same time, many do not know where to find the Black Limit in Skyrim. How to get to this city? This can be done through various Dwemer ruins, using the tuning sphere on the corresponding device.
If you donβt know where the Black Limit is in Skyrim, the entrances to it are located in the cities:
- Raldbthar.
- Mzinchaleft.
- Alftand.
It should be noted that there are more outputs than inputs. The player is provided with several elevators, with the help of which it will be possible to significantly reduce the road.
Entering this location, it immediately becomes noticeable that the Black Limit (Skyrim) is not like any other location in the game, while it is quite densely populated by various creatures, the vast majority of which are Falmers. Judging by the concentration of creatures in this location, we can say that there is some semblance of their capital here, while it is worth noting the fact that only here it is real to see Falmer minions who have a normal appearance and at the same time actively protect their masters. Also, of course, next to the Falmers will often be present their constant companions - frosty spiders and, what is more terrible, Corus.
Among other things, there are also a large number of other creatures that, most likely, once got here from the outside. In particular, this applies to the giant and mother haze. You can also find the centurion as a legacy from the Dwemer, but he will not be nice to you and, of course, will attack immediately as soon as he sees it. Of course, in addition to the centurion, you can also find many other defense mechanisms that defend this territory.
Where to get the quest?
The quest to visit this location is called "Beyond the Ordinary" and is a mission of the Daedric Prince Hermeus Moru. Initially, the quest is taken, as mentioned above, from Septimius Segonius, but then it becomes clear that he is only a servant of the prince. To complete the task, it is necessary to collect the blood of all races, and then return to Septimius. He will introduce it into himself, thereby opening the Dwemer trap. Inside the trap is a book that Hermeus Moru prefers to give you, which allows you to add +5 to certain skills.
Unique Black Limit Elements
In the Black Limit, you can also find the laboratory of Sinderion, who was a legendary alchemist and is a reference to the previous part of the series - TES IV Oblivion.
It is also worth noting the fact that it is here that the scarlet roots of Nirn are located , necessary for the task Return to the Roots. In no other location can these roots be found.
Dragonborn Surprise
Few people know that the Black Limit ("Skyrim") allows you to summon a dragon named Vulturyol, which is a kind of surprise to players from the developers. In order to summon it, you must use the very first cry you have studied Juggernaut in the Dwemer sun that hangs over the main square of the Silent City. Skipping it is quite difficult, but not everyone can guess that it contains such an interesting surprise.
