Most vacationers at the Club Viva hotel in Marmaris agree that it is very comfortable. Many note the polite, efficient and helpful staff, regular cleaning of the room and change of linen, as well as a tasty and varied menu.
However, some of our compatriots were a little confused, since the main contingent of holidaymakers here are Europeans (mostly residents of the UK). In this regard, the hotel staff practically do not speak Russian, which sometimes causes certain problems for Russians and citizens of other CIS countries.
A number of negative reviews about the Club Viva is due to the fact that the beach is quite far from the hotel (about a thousand meters). Therefore, it takes a long time to get to him on foot. The available transportation runs between the hotel and the beach at a not very convenient time: departure at 10-11 a.m., and return at 5 p.m. Therefore, when tourists get to the beach (which is very compact), most of the sun loungers are already occupied, which is why you have to huddle in not the best places.
A series of complaints is caused by the situation that develops around the hotel pool. The fact is that the adjoining territory is so small that it cannot accommodate sun loungers for all the guests of the Viva Club. In this regard, wise experience tourists get up, as they say, with the first roosters, and run downstairs to pick up sunbeds with towels. Thus, when vacationers who have not taken care of a place near the pool in advance, come down here after breakfast, then they often cannot find a free sun lounger. Against this background, conflicts often arise between hotel guests. After all, those who did not have enough space near the pool, begin to resent and scold those guests who in the early morning had already occupied sun loungers, not only for themselves, but also for the whole family and friends. Often, even hotel staff cannot figure out these differences.
However, on this list of shortcomings of the Club Viva Hotel in Marmaris, listed by our compatriots who were resting here, is not exhausted. So, many tourists remain very unhappy that a mosque is located nearby, from which a very loud prayer is heard every day at six in the morning. Accordingly, almost all guests get up no light or dawn without any alarm clock. But on vacation, many people want to sleep longer and relax, soaking in bed. However, only one thing can be said about this: it is a foreign country, and in a foreign monastery, that is, a mosque, as you know, you should not meddle.
