The heart of the city - Aldstadt
Aldstadt is that part of the city where modern Düsseldorf once began. That is why it is rightly called the "heart of the city." Translated, the name of the area sounds like "Old Town". Here the streets and squares are paved with cobblestones. Many buildings were built in the 17-18 centuries.
