3rd stage: calculation of the density of knitting. To calculate the density of knitting, you must first decide on the pattern. If several patterns in the header are used, then the design sample is knitted for each pattern. For measurement, a 10 by 10 cm sample is knitted. The resulting piece of cloth is washed and dried, and then steamed. After this, the ruler measures the number of loops, which is included in 1 cm of the canvas.
4th stage: first row set: if the cap is knitted from bottom to top, then to calculate the number of air loops of the first row, a calculation is performed where the head circumference in cm is multiplied by the number of loops in 1 cm. For example, to cover the head in 48 cm and at a density knitting 2 loops in 1 cm you need to dial 96 loops. If knitting is on top, then you need to calculate the diameter of the bottom of the cap. To do this, measure the height of the head with a centimeter from the top of the head to the middle of the forehead and multiply by 2. Knitting the main part
