Stone Path: Preparation
Before you start laying, you should stock up with the necessary amount of sandstone. To make the stone path look attractive, you do not need to use the same fragments. It is better to use stones of different sizes, the main thing is that their width be different. In this case, the shape of the stone does not have much significance.
Stones should be selected so that between their edges there is a gap of about 2 cm. Large stones will hold better, therefore, we lay them on the sides, in the middle - small ones. To keep all the elements of the masonry better, they should be placed with the wide side from the bottom. If the upper distance between the edges of two adjacent stones is greater than the lower, they will not fall out of the masonry. Once all the stones are fitted and neatly laid, it is worth starting to concrete.
We return the stone to the place and begin to grind it, a little pressure from above. If it is still staggering, add sand and do the previous procedure again. As soon as the stone lies firmly in place, carefully remove it and pour a mixture of sand and cement along the edges. Set the stone in place and grind it again. As soon as we spread all the sandstone, fill the edges of our almost finished track with concrete, while the width of such a border should be about 10 centimeters.
