Solar wells are legendary sources of power that were created in the distant past to maintain power in the bodies of high elves. Even after seven thousand years, they are present in the Warcraft universe, all you need to know is how to find them and enter the correct location.
First part of the story

After the madness of Queen Azshara and the destruction of the source, Illidan Stormrage created several vials that are filled with water from this Well. One of them got to the separated blood elves, and they created solar wells from it. The exact number of newly created energy reservoirs is currently unknown. In the new history, only one of them is mentioned.

After the traitor Arthas used the well to resurrect Kel'Thuzad in the form of a lich, the source was damaged. It functioned for a while, until the blood elf prince Kael'thas returned from wandering and destroyed it. By this action, he saved his people, but turned to eternal torment. The solar wells were the source of the magical powers of an entire nation; without the last of them, they began to experience eternal thirst. Soon, Kael'thas' betrayal opened, and the Horde and the Alliance decided to put an end to his manipulations and service to the Burning Legion. Together they defeated the madman, and the prophet Velen cleansed the well. From that moment on, the shelter elves were saved, but they paid even too much for the price.

Blizzard developers brought the story to sources in a real raid dungeon. It bears the same name, and the ruler of the demons, the tempter Kil'jaeden, rules there. This monster is the main boss from which popular items fall for transmogrification of many types of weapons and armor. The raid dungeon is located on the island of Quel'Thalas, which lies north of the Eastern Kingdoms. You can get there only with the help of the portal from Shattrath - a city in Outland. In its eastern part, huge gates will appear with an entrance to the raid. At level 70, he was rather heavy and exhausting, because one battle with Kil'jaeden could last more than half an hour. In addition to the main opponent, there are five others who also hold valuable rewards. It is worth noting that during the journey, players will have to defend a lot of elite warriors of 75+ level, therefore it is worth preparing for a long campaign.
The most valuable item in the raid is the legendary bow called Tori'dal, Starfury, which falls from the last boss. The chance for this is only 5%, the lucky ones immediately try to get it for themselves. It is because of this artifact that the raid is of the highest degree of interest for heroes with the hunter class. Although transmogrification into legendary items is still prohibited, it will be a great acquisition for the collection.
