Flexible hoses
Such products are considered the simplest and can last about three years. They, in turn, are divided into two types - reinforced (for water), which is a rubber hose, inside of which there is a nylon fiber, and metallized, which differs from the first in that it is covered with a metal braid on top.
These hoses are made of high quality rubber that can withstand pressure. In addition, if they are installed correctly, they almost never break. But they have a weak point, which can be the cause of accidents - end-pressing.
Reinforced water hose is available for both cold (blue marking strip) and hot water (red marking strip).
Corrugated sleeve

Bellows hoses

In fact, this also includes the corrugated sleeve described above, but, unlike bellows hoses, it does not have a rubber insert and crimp ends.

They come with both external and internal threads, or they combine both types of threads. In addition, all types of hoses for connecting to mixers have special needles, that is, tubes of small diameter with external thread, equipped with rubber o-rings.
Correct hose connection
Despite the fact that connecting these products is quite simple, it should be done taking into account some rules in order to avoid leaks and accidents in the future. This applies to all types of hoses.
Strong bends are unacceptable, especially when a reinforced water hose is installed. To avoid this, use threaded turns that are placed at the outlet of the water pipe.
Do not overtighten the hose. To do this, you need to choose the right length, and then it will last much longer. It is not recommended in this case to connect several hoses for extension - this is an extra threaded connection, which impairs the reliability of the system.
Do not tighten needles and union nuts. They have an acceptable tensile strength. First, they are twisted by hand and held out with a wrench.
