Such a ceiling has many advantages over any other types of finishes. It is chosen due to its excellent characteristics.
So, the process of installing a ceiling with one level requires significantly less time and effort. This makes the price of single-level suspended ceilings lower than their multi-level counterparts. At the same time, the design is practically inferior in design to nothing.
These ceilings are great for small rooms with low ceilings. The whole structure will steal no more than 4 centimeters in height - two-level models require significantly more space. The canvases used in the manufacture are characterized by a high level of strength and are very reliable. The material of the stretch ceiling is able to withstand the weight of 100 liters of water per square meter. A ceiling with one level has more significant moisture resistance than multi-level analogues. Condensation will not form on the canvas, and a normal humidity level is always maintained in the room.
After installing the stretch ceiling, a perfectly flat surface is formed. No other finishing method will allow you to get this. You can hide any irregularities. Also hidden inside are electrical wiring and other communications.
There is a wide selection of textures of paintings, as well as a huge range of colors. This allows you to create a truly original interior. You can change the design almost beyond recognition, despite the fact that there is only one level. In this case, the structure will be damaged, and it cannot be restored. Also, experts do not recommend installing single-level suspended ceilings in places where there is no heating. The film of the canvas when exposed to low temperatures will be brittle and can easily collapse.
One-level ceilings in the interior
It might seem that such a simple ceiling would look boring. This is actually not the case. Modern designs have a stylish and interesting design. Design such canvases in different ways.
Among the design options, one can highlight a glossy one-color canvas - with its help you can visually enlarge a small room. For a change, you can use 3D prints or photo printing.
Often choose a "starry sky". This solution is suitable not only for children's rooms or bedrooms. It will fit perfectly into the living room. For these styles, it is better to choose a matte or satin canvas.

Features of two-color ceilings
Two-color products with one level are almost an analog of multi-level designs. However, the effect will only work if the room has a large area. Two-color canvas focuses only on certain areas and details of the room. So, for the bathroom, one of the colors may be similar to the floor covering. In the kitchen, it should match the colors of the furniture facade.
Single-level stretch ceilings for the hall (the photo is in our article) from a multi-colored strip allow you to visually expand the space. If you choose a contrasting combination of colors, you can highlight a luxurious chandelier. The main task of two-color ceilings is to divide the room into functional zones. You can also focus on the decoration of other parts.
Mounting
Installation of single-level suspended ceilings is much simpler than multi-level. Work should begin with markup. Using the level in each corner, zero points are set and the lowest of them is determined. At the last mark is placed at a distance of 3.5 centimeters from the ceiling. Then measure the distance from zero points to this mark. Indent all angles at this distance.
Next, with a dyeing thread, the lines on which the profile will be attached are beaten off. The latter is laid so that its lower edge lies clearly along the line. Mount the profile on the dowel or "butterfly". Before mounting the canvas, a place for the chandelier should also be provided.
Then begins the stage of mounting the canvas of a single-level stretch ceiling. The first button to fasten in the profile is an angle specially marked on the canvas (this is the one from which measurements were previously taken). To fasten the corner in the system, use a special spatula. If a gapless system is used, then fasten with hands. After fastening the left corner, fasten the opposite. Then the same operations are carried out with other angles. Then, all segments are gradually buttoned. The first thing after the corners is the canvas fastens in the middle of the wall. And then each section is divided in half and then fastened in profile. At this point, the installation completed successfully.
