On the territory of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Chechnya there lives a proud, loving independence and homeland people. Its representatives possess special features of appearance, character, and upbringing. Chechens, whose appearance is very recognizable, are located far beyond the borders of their homeland.
Chechen Religion
Before the advent of Islam, this people worshiped a group of gods associated with nature and life. And only in the 13th century Islam began to spread in the territory of Chechnya. By the end of the 18th century, Chechnya will become completely Muslim.
The prevailing religion in Chechnya is Islam. These are mainly the teachings of Sufism - nadiri or nakshbandi. They, in turn, are divided into wird brotherhoods, of which there are more than 30.
The largest group is zikrist. They are followers of Sheikh Kunt-Haji Kishiev.
Life and life of the Caucasian people
The main settlements of the Chechen people are villages. Tourist houses, in which the most important thing is a non-leaking roof, inside are very clean and bright. For those who live in the mountains, this is not so noticeable. There are no window frames, but only shutters and a canopy in front of the door to protect against weather conditions.
A special oven is built in the courtyard of each house, in which delicious homemade bread is baked.
In fact, the mountaineers are completely unpretentious in food, are content with tortillas, corn porridge, barbecue or chowder.
The main activities of the people are:
- cattle breeding;
- beekeeping;
- tilling;
- hunting.
Women's occupation - raising children, home care, lifestyle. In addition, they weave very beautiful carpets, sew dresses and shoes.
The appearance of men
According to anthropological data, Chechens are not any integral type. The appearance of the Chechens can be attributed to the Near-Asian race.
They are characterized by medium or high growth, strong physique, upturned or aquiline nose, strong-willed chin, thick eyebrows. In a mixed type, the hair can be coal-black and light blond. So with the eyes, people are found with dark brown eyes, and with light green.
The main feature of the Chechens' appearance is dolichocephaly, that is, their head shape is longer than that of other Caucasian peoples. Many men wear a beard or mustache, which gives them even more masculinity.
Menacing menacingness, strength and courage inherent in men are also reflected to some extent on the appearance of the Chechens. A firm and direct look reveals the unbending will and obstinacy of these beautiful highlanders.
The characteristic features of the Chechens' appearance are a strong-willed chin, slightly protruding forward, and strict facial contours.
The appearance of women
There are a lot of very beautiful women in Chechnya. "Instagram" is filled with selfies of beautiful, young and well-groomed girls.
They have big eyes, starting with black and ending with light green, perfectly shaped eyebrows, a noticeable nose, a broad face with graceful contours, a face, beautifully defined lips and long hair. True to old age, the face becomes coarse and becomes very harsh.
As a rule, women cover their heads, but recently many young girls allow themselves to walk with their heads uncovered. At least until marriage.
Despite the fact that Muslim women in neighboring countries allow themselves to wear trousers or jeans, Chechen girls do not dare to do this, preferring long skirts and dresses.
Already from school, young girls are obliged to wear scarves on their heads, which they later replace with beautiful hijabs and stoles.
Particular attention is paid to modern girls accessories. If this is a bag, then it must be from a well-known brand. If the shoes, then the sneakers are of good quality.
Perhaps the most famous and beautiful Chechens are:
- Zarema Irzakhanova;
- Amina Khakisheva;
- Zamira Dzhabrailova;
- Makka Sagaipova;
- Tamila Eldarkhanova and many, many others.
Nature of the people
Nohchalla - this is how one can characterize in a word the whole essence of the Chechen. Appearance, inner feeling of oneself as a person with dignity, attitude to life and to people - all this is included in the word "nokhcho".
That is, it is a kind of honor of a Chechen. The way they build relationships in the family, in love, in friendship, at work - this is nokhchalla.
Chechens revere friendships so much that they can give their lives for a friend. Friendship is sacred to them. Highlanders support each other in any position.
The attitude to the female sex is special. They always behave with restraint in the presence of women, get up at a meeting and do not allow to say something superfluous.
A Chechen man will never allow himself to hit a woman, much less a child. In children, they do not want to raise cowardice, so physical punishment is completely absent. If the highlander hits the girl, then his whole family will be responsible for this.
If it so happens that the wife cheated on her husband, then he has the right to drive her out of his home, demanding the kalym to return.
Chechens are a cheerful hospitable people. Yes, the appearance of Chechen men sometimes instills fear in the hearts of people of a different nationality, but this does not mean that they are actually so cruel.
Although in fairness itβs worth saying that after all, the centuries-old struggle for the lands has developed fearlessness, courage, dexterity, indomitability and endurance in them. Even the enemies of this people cannot but admit it.
Chechen traditions
The traditions of the Chechens originate from ancient times, and most of them are still observed.
For example, a man must get up when an elderly woman enters the house. If he goes out with the woman, he must go one step further so that in case of danger the blow will fall on him.
If a girl gets married, then her husbandβs family controls her future fate. The mother-in-law brings her up as she sees fit, transferring all household chores into her hands.
A great insult is considered to be touching the headdress of men.
Chechens are not used to showing feelings for all to see. In relation to any person, a Chechen is obliged to behave respectfully.
